I like the idea that Buu was the concept of cosmic chaos, but Boppity just brought it into a condensed form.
What about the demons in DB? Wasnt there like this door that comnected the two relms? Like the guy says "you must stupid or brave" and Goku replied "im neither of those guys, im Goku" then they fought and he won... was it filler? Geek i need ya here and now

Actually I believe the episode is called Goku goes to the demon land, basically if I remember their names right it's Shula, and I had the female demon's name, but it escaped me.

I would want this arc, and have it center around the young characters in Super. A good adventure with(a timeskip of about 2 years)Goten and Trunks, joined by Marron, Pan, Yamcha(just because it's time for him to stop being a joke and actually grow like the other human characters)and maybe Burra. It'd probably never happen without Goku or Vegeta being involved at some point, but it'd be neat

I would think it would work against him. If you look at it, demons are suppose to be the opposite of gods. I would think that is why he got weaker. Every time he absorbed one of the kaioshins, he became less of a demon, hence why we got Fat Buu (Good Buu). I think he can only obtain demon ki, I am guessing. I guess it would be equivalent to god ki, or something to the opposite of. It would be kind of refreshing if there was something like that.

I had wondered, in OG Dragon Ball, were Shula and his demons apart of Dabura's same Demon world? Regardless of the time periods they were made and what we know now.
It's hard to explain away bad writing but geekdom makes it work. It's commendable
Aside from Dabura, there's Shula and Spike. They're appeared before the "Z" series. They're from the Demon Realm plus the episode featuring Shula shows Goku crossing the Demon Gate into the Demon Realm. Reason for Goku doing that is because the Demon Gate was near a village and it was being attacked by demons.
As a kid I always wondered how the demons from 'Goku Goes to Demon Land' tie together with King Piccolo. Too bad the episode is not mentioned at all here, even though it is anime only.
Legend has it that Mr Popo is the true king of all demons and his ultimate rival is Farmer with a shotgun

@ Nuraihyon no mago - I would think that there must be. If you look at every thing we know about gods and demons, is that they are the exact opposites. One is based on order, while the other is based on chaos. I would think that there is a special ki used by both. So, I would have to agree with you about there being a demon ki.

Hey Geekdom, love your content! Every video I watch is always amazing and fascinating to watch but something that I find rather strange is that there really isn’t a whole lot of Android 13 videos talking about him, his power level, or even how well the voice actor portrayed him in the movie. The movie isn’t exactly amazing but still the idea of Android 13 is cool especially the fused version. It’s almost like Android 13 was the prototype that paved the way for Super Android 17 to become a thing. So I hope you could do a video about him some day since it would be cool to see more of what you put out.

moon man goku went toe to toe with beerus in SSG form now I understand beerus wasn't using full strength (I think it was like 60-70%) but with SSB kkx20 beerus might have to use probably 90% I would say plus beerus doesn't know UI and goku has used it twice plus guarantee he'll use it again before the TOP is done so it's a safe bet that if goku can master it he can seriously hurt or defeat beerus, whis is a natural at UI, it's not even a power up for him lol look at jiren He might be stronger than a GoD but it hasn't been proven just speculated and I don't think he knows UI I'm still saying he uses telepathy to aid him in his battles

Hmm..Looking at it that way, it may explain why Piccolo looks after Gohan the way he does. Because he knows that if he makes children the Namekian way, due to his father's nature being an essential part of who he is, they might come out as demons, and he doesn't want to risk that.
Akira toriyama never provides explanations for anything. It’s bad when the funimation dub has to fill the gaps in. Toriyama couldn’t come up with a decent story to save his life.

Hey so, if piccolo can presumably make his children have whatever appearance he wants them to have, then do you think it's possible for him to create a female Namekian?
There would first have to be a male namekian to make a female namerkian. Asexual beings aren't male, so Piccolo ain't a male.
No because Namekians are genderless even though they are masculine beings.
I suppose he could theoretically make a feminine namekian but they'd only superficially be female since namekians vomit eggs to reproduce
@@DominikSobolewski That logic doesn’t make sense. But, it may be possible since Demon piccolo made his children’s have wings, effectively morphing their biology, piccolo should be able to add female characteristics ( structure, genitalia, etc ) to his children.
@@headcannon5105 To have a female you need to be a sexual entity. Namakians don't reproduce sexually, therefore there can't be a female (or male) Namakian.

I've got a theory, so what if......... Buu was created by Beerus and/or Whis to be a destroyer on Beerus' behalf? We all know that Beerus is lazy and used to sleep for years at a time. So to me it would make sense that Buu was created to keep the balance of destruction/creation in the universe since Beerus wasn't doing his job. Kinda like how every King has his Knights do the work only for him to take the credit. What you think Geekdom?

I think the problem some people have grappling with this stuff is just that culturally a demon is a very different concept to the Japanese. To Westerners familiar with Judeo-Christian beliefs (whether personally or just through exposure and media), a demon is a very specific thing. Either a fallen angel, or the corrupted creation of such. Then watching anime, and Garlic Jr and his crew call Piccolo Jr a demon (EDIT actually one of Slug's demon crew, not Garlic Jr's), and it can be a head scratcher if you aren't versed in the lore. I guess we're lucky that DB demonology doesn't lean into the concept of the various yokai.
Well in the Judeo-Christian belief, a demon is a malicious entity that never was born on earth, hence why it is a fallen angel or something else other than a human.
I do not know about that part about Garlic Jr calling Piccolo Jr a demon. I wonder if it was in the dubbed version or in the subbed version. Things are lost in translation and are also changed by other people.
Seth Houser you know what, that's my mistake. I was thinking it was one of the Makyo-seijin, but it was Dorodabo (one of Slug's crew). I don't think that the dub referred to demons back at that point, so this is a Japanese line im thinking of.
Seth Houser And yea, that is a big part of it- demons are often depicted in Western fiction as malevolent spirits, unless they ground themselves in a physical host or break into the physical plane through some ritual. In eastern lore they're often a part of nature. And in anime, we frequently see hybrid characters (Inuyasha Yusuke Urameshi come to mind). Such offspring have certain connotations in Western myths (nephilim in some interpretations, cambion, etc).
It is not easy to put legends in order with time-line and such, when our tales of ancient stories make a connections and organizing them correctly to get the answers straight. Also, every year . . .. a older mythos gets discovered and finding a place for it is not easy to figure or to be sure of.

UK Drill Central The fusion is still half human and half saiyan, I think someone else has already written a comment with the calculation but in short with Gotenks you would add the childrens halves together and get a whole human and saiyan and then divide it by two for Goten and Trunks and get half for Gotenks being one person. The official wikipedia has the races listed for fusions too, the funniest thing is seeing how their extended fused family is set out with "half-fathers" xD

Yo this guy has clearly not seen the original dragonball series and there was a whole tiny arc where goku enters the demon realm to save a kingdom, he just totally missed it
No he didn’t. It’s filler, so he didn’t include it. It’s not canon
You know, demons would be a great idea for an arc. They could have the same hierarchy as the grand priest and the angels, but instead they are evil( unless the angels are already evil) It'd be a great way to give characters like Whis a potential threat as I find his role in the series boring(he mostly just stands around commentating on everything)
Imagine Fallen Angel as the Main Villian of DBS.
I have a theory as to what Super Saiyan Rage Trunks is about. I think that the strange blue energy color in the initial Super Saiyan Rage form is actual Genki, or Spirit Ki, life energy. That would explain why every time Trunks burst into the form he almost absorbs it and when coming out of the form, he seems very tired. It would also explain how he was able to take the energy to make that small Spirit Bomb that he absorbed into his Ki Sword. Then it led to him being able to create the Spirit Sword and it was powerful enough to take on even Fused Zamasu.
Just a theory.
