Pro tip for the music, etc. If you are on the screen with the music, hold the up button for 1 second. It will take you back to the "home screen". Then, when you want to change your music you can quick recall the last screen you were in by simply holding down on that menu selector. This works for the gps, GPS, sport screens, music, phone, and any other screen. I use the feature all the time when I want to change the song, or if I just need to see if my turn is coming up before the prompt.
If you go with bren, I'd advise you to keep the stock rev limit. Better yet, find a local tuner that uses Woolich racing software. Just get live tuning activated and have the restrictions removed in the midrange
@topmaster999 From what i remember, it's a substantial increase. I believe they set it in or around 15k (indicated). And if you look around at some of the blown motors out there, they all used a btmoto flash with their raised 15k rev limit. You can request that they leave it stock. I'm only stating this for any potential engine related warranty claims
Maybe it’s just me but I love my old school bikes with out all this electronic b s like listening to music for one? When I’m on my bike it’s me and the bike and the road ….
This video is like watching a school girl complaining...in Europe we have full power... Sorry but should have lived here, mirrors who tf needs mirrors on a missile?, tft too much information bmw have had this screen on every bike since 4 years so why you're the only one complaining about the best screen in the business? Get another bike man it's not for you, and I feel sorry you felt all these issues in my opinion. Seat not comfortable? Buy an rt or gs for comfort...this is a naked superbike, don't expect much but thrills man and I always get thrills and beleive me I had every bike you can imagine, to me no other bike beats the m1000r, wish you all the best as your channel is great even though I do not agree with you this time.
I mean if all these issues were corrected it would be a perfect bike though no? 😂😂 my petty complaints are out weighed by how amazing this bike is! Stay tuned for next week when I talk about how good this bike is!!
"WeGeTaLLtHePoWeR" What do you mean, yall the reason manufacturers are discontinuing inline four super bikes like the R6 and R1. Yall got some crazy emission laws bc yall scared of CO2.
@@topmaster999 The evotech barends did not solve my problem, altho removing the mirrors from a track day removed all the vibrations and the buzzy feeling. Going to try new and smaller mirrors to see if that removes the buzzy hands.. (installed grip puppies as a quick fix)
another great M1000r video, I have the same bike in the uk and my bike doesn’t have the big flat spot. I completely agree with mirrors being bad, if you do find a good fix please please share 👍👍keep the videos coming 👍
Really?? It has to be some stupid North America thing to make that flat spot… it’s actually wild how bad it is haha. I’m currently looking for different mirrors now hahahaha
@@topmaster999I got rid of them in my M1R, no mirror at all. I think it was the first thing I did was take them off on top of getting rid of the ugly tail.
@topmaster999 it's a noise thing in the US. At half the usable rpm, it can't exceed 96 or 98 decibels. In order to do that, they programed in a flat spot (right around 8k).
Wow, so interesting...Everything that's wrong with the BMW has been done right with my Z900RS Kawasaki. Especially the power delivery...liquid smooth! I'm surprised. Beemer, do better!
I’ve been informed the power delivery is a North American thing for emissions and sound etc, with a tune you can unlock the full power of this bike haha
Mirrors are crap if to low in rev . 4th gear highway speed is fine . 6th gear you see nothing. try drop a gear or two or just pull in the clutch if u need see if is a cop or not 😂
Strange. I've toured a bit of Europe on mine and find the seat good enough for for over 200 miles before any serious discomfort.
Really eh.. I couldn’t last 30 mins with it, I got an after market seat now and it’s so much better haha

Does Bren automatically increase the rev limit? Or do they give you options?

That’s very good information. I will look into this when I buy my tuner, I had no idea.

@@ThEMiKeMFjOnEs I always thought Europe would have stricter rules for emissions
Maybe they should spend some money on R&D.
try the evotech bar ends for the shaky mirrors, installed on mine but haven't try highway speed yet
Ohhh. Let me know!! I’d love to just throw on some bar ends and keep my mirrors

Enjoy your beast fully bro ❤
Thank you 😁 I also fully enjoy it
its not bmw its your government emissions laws,,,we (uk) don't have that flat spot at all
That’s what I keep hearing now.. I had no idea the UK didn’t have that gross flat spot
No flat spot in france too and we are very strict on vehicules emissions

First world problems....
😂 yes
lol most of these are just being a complainer
The problem is not the mirrors. The problem is the vibrations of the handlebar
True, I switched them out for something else and this problem is gone now
