Yeah that’s what I kind of figured, I heard rumors with wd 40 and idle it will turn blue but clearly not the case haha. I’ll be just riding the piss out of it when spring time rolls around 😂

@@topmaster999 aliexpress, they were like 500$ CAD 🤣 I had one of the header pipes misaligned, so had to force it a bit and had a small leak. I used a bit of permatex copper sealant on that joint and got rid of the leak. MAN it is LOUD, eh 🤣… I had to put the DB killer in the Austin racing slip on

It’s insanely loud 😂 the camera does no justice for how loud it is haha. Did you put a real Austin racing slipon on it?

@@topmaster999 this is also true like I said you will have to rev the shit out of it. So you will have to select a route with a lot of tight twisty back to back corners and ride the bike in the lowest possible gear and keep the revs above 10,000 as far as possible. The torch is really far easier than you think. If you want certain sections to pop more blue than others I would highly recommend you take it off take it to a shop, and torch it the exact way you want it. Just make sure they clean it extremely well then apply WD-40 again use gloves, no touching… and torch it. If you want the natural burn in then get on it and go for a super spirited ride!

I figured haha, was worth a try idling my bike for 15 mins but I had low hopes it would actually turn 😂 I think I’m gonna go for the spirited ride at high rpm’s route and make a video about it 😂😂

I really really like all of the new s and m models from 2025, I think they absolutely nailed the s1000rr. I’m a little disappointed they got rid of all the carbon on the m1000rr

I love the M XR. Suchhhh a sick bike. Yeah it’s absolutely mental how loud it is.. videos do no justice to how it actually sounds haha. Brentune is a game changer. You’ll love it.

@topmaster999 Yeah....I was surprised I even went for it, to be honest. Remember, this is a step down from the M1000XR, but damn near pretty close to it (I got some of the carbon fiber bits and pieces) Did you do all the Brentune stuff? Velocity stacks, IAT kit, intake valve delete, and the actual tuning?

Oh still such a nice bike, it’s on my list of bikes to get for sure haha, I just did the stage 1 Bren tune and it’s completely transformed my bike

Dang $200 for the seat is not bad at all! I love the crg mirrors, imo they are the best out there, I wanna do the stage two but at the same time I don’t think it’s gonna do anything significant for me as a casual street rider haha I wanna get that sun deflector in carbon fiber 😂 NRC is super sick but I was worried the police won’t like my already illegal exhaust, I didn’t want to give them a visual reason to pull me over 😂😂

I also would love to know who else has a m1000r 😂 I’ve seen one other person in Vancouver with the same bike passing by but otherwise I feel like there’s not many out there.

Ohhhh, I cleaned the pipes with wd40 but I didn’t start it right after. I’m gonna do that now haha

I’ll def make an entire video about these mirrors and bar ends I got. They are actually amazing. The quadlock you need to get the vibration dampener with it. Once you have that you don’t have to worry about killing your phone.

Thx, yes i saw there was a damper for the quadlock but i made (wrongly) the reflection if the original mirrors are alread that problem on the mr, will be this damper be sufficiant. By the way did you already see the presentation of the 2025 version of the mr, nice he?

The dampener for the quadlock is perfect, I’ve been using it for 2 years now with no issues. I absolutely love the new 2025 m1000r. Bmw is crushing it out there!

I have the fork stem mounted quad lock with the vibration damper. It costs a little more but worth it and should help protect phones from damage.

@topmaster999 I've been debating going full system for fear that it's obnoxiously loud. I just have the akra stubby on there for now.

It’s def obnoxiously loud, have you BT Moto tuned it yet? Because just doing that will open the valve 100% of the time and make it a bit louder

@topmaster999 I have the stage 1 BT Moto tune on it. Considering the stage 2. BT Moto doesn't offer much info on it, though. The dyno printout for the stage 2 is for a 2021 M1000RR instead of 2024 M1000R.

I’m also on the fence about getting the stage two.. I’m loving the stage one right now. Not sure if it’s worth the upgrade..

Really eh.. I couldn’t last 30 mins with it, I got an after market seat now and it’s so much better haha
