Love this. I'm going to make 6 for my pregnant Physical Therapist. Give them to match the quilt I'm making her. I know she will love them. They are so cute.❤
Love this video, what is the name of the elastic thread you are using in your video?, Your info takes you to Amazon and a maxi lock stretch thread, is that alright?
I have made this hat before but am fairly new to sewing with knits. In fact I have a lot of trouble. It gets pulled underneath the plate and gets knotted up. I end up with a hole in the fabric trying to get it out. I use my walking foot, stretch thread and a ball point needle. What else do I need to do? I'm beginning to think I just can't sew with knits.
try starting a couple inches in, then back stitch to the start place. You may have to then lift the pressure foot and just move the fabric back to your place a couple inches in.... Wow that sounds confusing. Starting further in the fabric helps keep it from pulling thru the hole
This is happening to me to. The fabric is getting jammed down under the foot into the machine. When trying to remove it, it tears fabric. I even trued using wax paper but then the wax paper is stuck between the stitching and looks terrible.
Could I make a suggestion without trying to sound mean? A few times you’ve been giving instructions and it appears you’re doing something with the fabric but the camera is at your face…would be good to see more of what you’re doing with the fabric. Otherwise awesome video and thank you x
So... Everywhere i checked, it says not to use an elastic thread on the top spool, but only in the bobbin, and everywhere i look they only use it for shirring... So I'm confused. Should i use an elastic thread on the top spool? Or should i just use a stretch stitch with normal thread....? Hope someone can help on this one... 😇
Question what is difference between eloflex stretch thread and maxi lock stretch thread? Video shows eloflex but blog link for stretch thread is maxi lock
So cute...when I downloaded the pattern, the third step indicates to sew along the short edges to form one round piece and shows two seams. The pictures shows two seams. Isn't it just one seam to close the loop (opposite the folded side)? Thanks, I am a newbie and confused here.
Hello 😊 i have tried to find the download link for this pattern. I signed up for access and screened your website several times. Can’t find the link anywhere and keep coming back to the registration field over and over. What am I doing wrong??? 🥴

@@CoralCoModernSewing this doesn´t work either. Now its password protected - and I have read all my emails from you since I first signed up 05-28-2020 - and none of them included any passwords for the resource library. I´m totally confused now 🤔
My band pattern piece says to cut 2 but I’m pretty sure that’s a typo, correct?

Very beautiful😊
Thanks a lot 😊
Your pattern has a bow. How is it attached to the hat? I see some tutorials make two button holes and pull the fabric through to form a bow.
It is sewn on by hand after making it.

They are pretty much the same thing. I don't think maxi lock is quite as stretchy but I like using it better in my sewing machine.

Impossible de bien voir !.blanc sur du blanc on ne voit que les pinces rouges, dommage.
The most annoying site that you can't actually download the pattern 🙄
