This is a lovely piece of work, and very generous of you to share the pattern. The vaguely bishop-looking fitting stage with the brim flipped up made me laugh.
Very nice , I will make one. I am a sewer also I make so much things. Thank you for posting this because I didn't know there was someone else that loves antique fashion. ☺️ An your wedding ring is very beautiful ❤️.
Hi! I love this and I’m making it - the one bit I need help with it the one of how to do the ribbon that you tie around your neck, do I just use more ribbon and then just tie it? Or how do you do it? Thanks for your help!
The measurements are on the brim pattern since it's just a circle I didn't draw it out bc it'd take 4 pieces of paper to print out and it's easy enough to just draw out on your fabric 😊
If you mean the crown piece then just the cotton organdy lining, the brim and the flat button of top are stiffened with the ikea mat I linked but historically a paste board would be used.
The crown is just a circle so I didn't add the piece because it would just take up 4 pieces of printing paper and well a circle is fairly easy to draft. It's a 20 inch diameter circle and that should be written on the brim pattern piece. 😊
I cant wait to make a mini version for my cat

Mine is just one long ribbon 120" long that goes around the bonnet from the back, crosses at the front and then ties under my chin 😊
My printer does not have a poster option, do you have any suggestion? thanks
hello, I do not know if I am missing something, but when I clicked on your link I only got the brim patten, not the base of the bonnet itself.

@@sewthroughtime how bigis the diameter?
What material hardens the top of the beret?

The pattern is in the blog post linked in the description. There you can download it and print it on your home printer on poster settings 😊
There's only the pattern for the brim, where's the rest of the pattern?
The crown is just a circle so I didn't add the piece because it would just take up 4 pieces of printing paper and well a circle is fairly easy to draft. It's a 20 inch diameter circle and that should be written on the brim pattern piece. 😊
