I mostly have box scars. i am just new to skincare and started my skincare journey from past 2 weeks consistently i am using glycolic acid toner and niacin serum with moisturizer every-night and in morning salicylic acid serum with moisturizer. do i need to use tretinoin or retinol with these or just continue with exfoliation ? please do let me know, hopeful.

You need to see according to your skin barrier how frequently you're applying. If your skin is getting flaky, reduce the frequency of applying tretinoin(say 2-3days/week) and use moisturizers that repairs skin like ceramides(acc. to your skin type- dry/oily). Also, PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY ACTIVES WHILE USING TRETINOIN, especially if your skin is getting red and flaky.
