    I own a 2019 Genesis G70. I purchased it April 08,2019.
I just celebrated one anniversary of ownership.
I also have 30,250 miles on it. Guess what?
    No problems.
I also purchased a 2006 Hyundai Tucson SUV, and a 2012 Hyundai Azera sedan. Bought both of them brand new, and both have over 130,000 miles on them, and both have been very, very dependable.
I only mentioned the other two vehicles that my wife and I own, to show that they are very reliable vehicles, which is why I purchased the Genesis G70.
I drive a lot, and need a reliable vehicle.
If you have great success with a brand, you stay with it, especially when they keep making better and more reliable beautiful vehicles.
People really need to stop hating on Genesis/Hyundai/ and Kia brand vehicles.
I don't know if you guys remember the commercial, "it's not your Father's Buick anymore "
Well this is not 1985 Hyundai's anymore.
Genesis makes great ,beautiful, reliable vehicles.

I did some digging and these brands have been investing A LOT on new tech, designers, and reliability. Very innovative companies and I'm excited to see what they have in store in the future.

Pleasantly surprised to see Genesis on top of the list, considering that I have been keeping my eye on this car for a while now.. new models like GV80 and G70 seem very promising. On the flip side, now I know not to ever buy a used Land Rover!

They should do these surveys on 10+ years old cars not on basically new ones.....

3-year old models surveyed? let's see how they do after 5 years

Mine is approaching five years and so far not a single issue each time I bring to dealer for oil change. No light indicators on center cluster. Still a quiet, purring engine.

I own an OG Genesis and it has been catastrophically unreliable! New ones sure but avoid the Hyundai Genesis!

That's really unfortunate. What exactly were the problems? The reason why I have a Genesis is because my father had a 2009 Genesis (bought that year), which went *228,000* miles before he sold it, the most ever in our family. It only had two issues: a water pump, and the bushings had to be greased, in that entire time! I have a 2016 Genesis (bought that year) and it is trouble-free.

@@Artecus In one year, at 100k miles, the alternator failed, the power steering system has broken several times, despite a 1000 dollar pump and a 1500 dollar rack being replaced. Something in the cooling system blew up last winter i can't remember what. It didn't start a month ago and needed some electrical work. The backup camera failed, the keyless access on the drivers door broke, and last week the evap purge solenoid went wrong. I also accidentally drove over a parking slab (long story) and cracked the transmission pan, costing me 1500 because the fluid is $85 a quart.

@@samuelhartman3897 Samuel: I am going to bend over backwards and assume you are not a troll, that you are being truthful. But I am underscoring that I am bending over backwards to do so. My father and I have been on the Genesis forum, genesisowners.com, since prehistoric times, and I am also on both Genesis forums on Facebook (Genesis owners and Genesis sedan owners), and I have never heard of anything this bad from any user. You or your family are one of the *unluckiest* Genesis owners I have ever read about. In a situation like that I would walk away from Genesis. Now, my Dad is grateful he went 228,000 miles trouble-free and I am at year 4.5 with my own and, too, trouble free and grateful.

@@Artecus Haha I WISH I could say I was trolling lmao! I'm also on the Genesis owners forum! From what I've seen online and looking at consumer reports I thought it would be super reliable! But I've had a bad experience. Probably bc it's an 09 first year ever, the 4.6 which was a brand new drivetrain, bespoke parts etc 🤷‍♂️
