@LancerNub check out pew science. There's already a bunch of real data put there. The ODB is one of the highest performing cans on the market for 300blk even as small as it is and for 556 as well.

Would appreciate seeing the full range of models on the 11.5" as it was ran on the 16" only because it seems like many of the non-BPR models performed better with a shorter barrel. Most my ARs are 10.5" to 12.5" so shorter barrel comparisons are super relevant.

I didn't think this would drop tonight! Thank you very much for doing this testing. I was initially quite interested I'm the B&T for a 16" or 14.5" rifle, but it seems the performance is slightly lacking for longer barrels. I'm honestly so surprised that barrel length, gas system length, has any effect on the back pressure of the entire system while suppressed. I find that interesting because most companies will advertise these low back pressure cans as low back pressure in all circumstances. That clearly isn't the case from testing!
Glad we could help support, do take a second look at the suppressor. And when we do all things considered video, you might find that the B&T suppressor really shines.
@Ertactical I definitely will! I'm interested to see if maybe it runs better on different platforms besides a DI AR. I will have to wait until more people get their hands on the suppressor. They're incredibly new, and I think the channel here is the 1st video of a non-B&T rep using the suppressor.
Yeah I'm 3 deep on the Hux cans and I love them. They may be a bit louder at the muzzle, though a lot less on the Flow 762, but the overall hearing damage risk is some of the lowest around, that's what I'm looking for.
Love all the information on these low back pressure silencers. You mentioned the sound reduction not being as good for those. Would love to see a video about the sound reduction on these if possible.

Have a Velos on backorder from the beginning of April. Super stoked to get my hands on it. Honestly ok with the slightly lower backpressure rating. In a weird way, a little gassiness is just the signature of suppressed shooting and I enjoy the occasional cancer fumes.
On natively supersonic rounds go for low back pressure as long as signature reduction is acceptable, including IR accumulation. For subs or low pressure rounds go for traditional cans for performance.
Your comments section is back :) Hopefully you get a CGS Sci-Six in to test out. I really love this overview, I think the Huxwrx Flow appeals to me the most because the RC3 is so expensive. First, I would have liked to see a table showing all results. Second, would it be better to get the Huxwrx ($1300) OR get an adjustable gas block and a cheaper suppressor?
Thanks for watching. You can our testing results on our website. As for the second question, that really depends on what you’re chasing, sound suppression, low back pressure or both. Despite what some websites say, Huxwrx has always been some of the loudest cans we’ve tested, good on low back pressure though. Here’s our data so far: silencersyndicate.com/testing-data/suppressor-info-chart/
AGB creates a multi point of failure. If you don’t care about reliability then it shouldn’t be an issue. As a side note, 5.56 will always be loud and a suppressor being marginally louder but have no downsides on internal wear or needing to tune your gun to prevent cancer gas going into your face is definitely worth it
PTR just came out recently with their version of LBP cans. They're called the VENT. Would have loved to see a comparison. No one has done a comparison yet.
We're trying, it's just a matter of manufacturers sending us product for testing. The more subscribers we have, the more they will take us seriously. Thanks for watching 🍻
Itching like a crackhead to see the rest of the suppressor showdown especially flash suppression. Keep grinding. Fastest growing channel I’ve seen in a long time.
It looks like the Ventum 556 has the same back pressure qualities as the Ventum 762 from the previous video. I think general “knowledge” was that a 762 should have less back pressure than a 556 but it looks small enough to be negligible?
Great video! I’d love to see back pressure plotted against decibels. In my experience, it sure seems like the low back pressure cans are louder and the high back pressure cans are quieter. I’d rather have the quiet, high back pressure can and just tune the gas.
plot graph showing each suppressor and how it does on BP and Sound Reduction would be awesome! Signature reduction is a niche category. We want to save our ears and our BCGs, we arent all that worried about fighting the ATF.... Yet.
@@SilencerSyndicate would make some sense since most people are running 10.3-14.5s these days, at least all my friends do. I’ll await further research from yall, but I’m gonna either get SF RC3 or the B&T SRBS. We’ll see, thanks again man.
B&T SRBS762 Ti, SiCo Charlie ASR mount via SiCo ASR f/s, PWS 11.85" piston .223Wylde, BHA 5.56 50TSX. Previously running a 36M, short & long configurations, with the above-mentioned style mounting system. Firearm ran on the lowest gas setting, #3, with the 36M. It also ran reliably on the same setting with the above-mentioned B&T can, but would not lock the bcg open. I switched to setting #2, more gas, last round bolt hold open achieved. I had to adjust my RDS as my POI was ~2moa higher than with the 36M. Maybe b/c the SRBS762 is 4.93oz lighter than the 36M with the same style mount? The only downside so far is the pronounced sparkle show from the front of the can on every shot during lower light. This condition being before full daylight on an early morning with overcast conditions. I've only had it out the one time & am looking forward to trying it with other ammunition. I also plan to have an extra shooter or two so that we can do an unscientific sound comparison with whatever cans we can scrounge up.
We have reached out to them and have not herd back but we have connected with MANY more and have several more on the way for testing. Thank you for your feed back and positive comments.
HXQD556Ti is almost the same weight as the Flow556k. But just like HXQD556(4oz more) as a standard sized can instead of a k can, it is a bit quieter than the flow k. I would assume a machined 17-4 core is a bit more durable than printed 17-4 or any pure Ti cans. The Ventum lost me on the Ti core in a stainless tube, isn't that the opposite of how you should use those two metals?? Ti as a reactive metal has terrible resistance to heat erosion and abrasion, and it sparks when it is blasted. I'm confused as they already made an excellent hybrid like HXQD556Ti, which has a 17-4 core.
None of them are really hearing-safe. That 140dB is on one pulse noise per day. Unless you're hunting, nobody shoots only one round. All of those cans would be okay for a range session indoors as long as I'm wearing earbuds. So I think it is more important to have less gas on my face, less weight on my arms, and less flash/sparks for my eyes. Heck, if I'm plinking with 22lr from a rifle with supers suppressed. I would still at least have earbuds due to the sonic crack.
You post a lot of great questions, we will continue testing with what we have and try to get our hands on Moore in order to best answer your questions. Thank you for your positive feedback and support.
This is likely due to reduced port pop from less high pressure gas venting out of the ejection port. This does nothing to reduce signature downrange though.
they seem to be very 007. we have some of them and many more on the way. we will keep getting good info out there for you all. we do like em! Thank you for your positive feed back and support.

I’d love to hear any experience you’ve had with the Rugged Surge X? I know it’s a bit newer so I haven’t seen a lot of reviews yet. I got one in jail and I’m hoping it was a good choice 😊
I have a shooting range at my home and have had a suppressor starting in the mid 90s. If sound suppression is not the goal and flash suppression is, why not run a top of the line flash suppressor and skip getting a can altogether. If a suppressor isn't quiet it's just a huge waste of money. Sound reduction and being lightweight should be the end goal, it is for me.

I'd like to see this test done on the scrambler ti dorect thread and qd.... I think its low back pressure and only 6 oz at 4.75" I'm really thinking of getting one
Sorta difficult (and pointless) since we in the U.S. can't have them. It's not like importing pistols and certain other Firearms . . . foreign silencers are a no-go here.
@@lytening79 Well there is probably a lot of viewers from around the world that has interest in this, so if somehow possible fx, hunters from EU will travel to the US with guns for hunting, and then maybe they will have such a suppressor on.
@@guvernator23 If they arrived in the U.S. with a silencer, they would be committing a felony under Federal law, so even your hypothetical scenario is not realistic. And again, short of having a special license to do so, importing/possessing a foreign-made silencer is also a felony here in the U.S.
if we are talking FlowK, Id say its harsh on the ears, even for the shooter, even for the spotter. but it was not made for max sound reduction. Thank you for your positive feed back and support.

@@popnetwork9106you must not know what you’re talking about the CAT WB kicks the hux ass! When it comes to tone and suppression it also is short. Best can on the market in my opinion
Since these aren't 1 - 10 numbered "grades" but rather adjustable gas block settings for both, mid-length and carbine length gas systems on their respective weapons, based on your experience and research which suppressor would you recommend for a 10.3" barrel and a fixed carbine length gas system? I've been debating back and forth between the SureFire RC3 w/ WarComp FH and the SilencerCo.Velos LBP w/ either the ASR FH or & QD Mount.
The RC3 is a good can but the Velos are extremely impressive. IMO. Vid on just this soon! Should be out in the next few days. Consider watching it before purchasing.
Hey, what exactly does low back pressure mean? Any engineers or gunsmiths in the house? I would imagine the max back pressure is determined by the powder in the round, and what a suppressor does is extend the dwell time of that pressure in the barrel? I'm trying to wrap my head around what actually is happening in the gun between the gas system and the end of the muzzle. If anyone can explain to a dummy lol! Thanks!
Spectre Cat needs to be in this comparison. Spectre's design absolutely destroys everything else in this video in-regards to "flow-through" technology while also maintaining a high sound suppression performance.

Low back pressure suppressors tend to be louder than high back pressure suppressors. The most balanced suppressor we've tested thus far is the PTR VENT 3. It's quiet as a Nomad L on a 16" rifle and low back pressure. Check out our review if you haven't already seen it.
@@SilencerSyndicate goes along with the recent pewscience review too. apparently it has absolutely outstanding performance. im sure huxwrx is still king in terms of backpressure, but vent 3 seems to be an amazing all rounder.

def! Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
Enjoyed the LBP video. I still look for quieter results over LBP results.
some can do it all! more to come! Thank you for the kind words and support!
Love these videos!
Thanks for watching 🍻
Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
I think the YHM Turbo T3 would be cool to add to these tests
Thank you for the suggestion, we've recently reached out to YHM, hopefully they'll want to play with us.
The back pressure on the T3 isn’t even close to low compared to these cans.
We have reached out, we have not heard back yet. We will keep trying.
Very interesting.
Awesome video. Do went to see how the cat and cgs cans go.
We're trying, it's just a matter of manufacturers sending us product for testing. The more subscribers we have, the more they will take us seriously. Thanks for watching 🍻
Looks like I'm getting a Huxwrx Ventum 556 then!
killer on the low BP
Damn none of the new knights flow through cans?
You have to test the Cobalt Kinetics Scrambler. CRAZY LIGHT and small, and very low back pressure, tested side by side to my HUXWRX Flow 556.
How do the baffles look? Just looking at the outside, it looks like a fancy blast can.
We will reach out to them. Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
Itching like a crackhead to see the rest of the suppressor showdown especially flash suppression. Keep grinding. Fastest growing channel I’ve seen in a long time.
It's coming soon! Thanks for watching, much appreciated 🍻
thank you! we will keep moving! Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
It looks like the Ventum 556 has the same back pressure qualities as the Ventum 762 from the previous video. I think general “knowledge” was that a 762 should have less back pressure than a 556 but it looks small enough to be negligible?
it can have less BP but not always. Lots of factors. Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
Great video! I’d love to see back pressure plotted against decibels. In my experience, it sure seems like the low back pressure cans are louder and the high back pressure cans are quieter. I’d rather have the quiet, high back pressure can and just tune the gas.
We're doing sound testing soon and we'll be making those comparisons. Thanks for watching, stay tuned!
we def will be doing that test! thanks for commenting
plot graph showing each suppressor and how it does on BP and Sound Reduction would be awesome! Signature reduction is a niche category. We want to save our ears and our BCGs, we arent all that worried about fighting the ATF.... Yet.
I would love to see some videos on the LMT suppressors…
We'll add it to our suggestions. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
I don't see any on their sight? do you have a link to them?
Thank you so much for this info. Interesting results on the B&T, maybe it’s optimized for shorter barrels?
We'll have to follow up with them and ask, definitely an interesting result with the shorter barrel. Thanks for watching 🍻
@@SilencerSyndicate would make some sense since most people are running 10.3-14.5s these days, at least all my friends do. I’ll await further research from yall, but I’m gonna either get SF RC3 or the B&T SRBS. We’ll see, thanks again man.
That’s what we were thinking, but it is quite impressive. All things considered.
I’d like to see suppression as well. Something good for indoors.
That video will be released very soon soon! Thank you for your feedback
I also plan to have an extra shooter or two so that we can do an unscientific sound comparison with whatever cans we can scrounge up.
solid notes! thank you for sharing
Great video
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
Great content
Thank you for watching
Like to see how AB A-10 Warthog stacks up here.
We have reached out to them and have not herd back but we have connected with MANY more and have several more on the way for testing. Thank you for your feed back and positive comments.
My man got more suppressors than I have guns
@@JohnZ556Hearing damage is way more complicated than peak dB measurements. Go read any PEW Science article for more information.
@@ToastbackWhale Excellent point.
Tho it would be difficult for me to never read any of them if I sounds like this deep into the rabbit hole. 🤫
The flow k is quieter then the hxqd 556 ti
Thanks for the info. New subscriber.
I know it's more of a budget option; but does anyone have comparison info on the Witt Machine Big Body 223?
Thank you, much appreciated! We won't have that can, but hopefully another viewer can chime in with their experiences.
We have reached out to them and have not heard back as of yet, but we will keep trying
Is the Ventum also loud? I wanted a Velos but if the Ventum is even better then that sounds like a good route to go.
Velos isn’t the hub system. It’s the Charlie mount.
He didn’t say it was. He’s b was for HUX, slow down to 1x speed if you can’t keep up.
Not sure if someone has said this, but at the ear the hux flow 5.56k sounds better to me than standard cans i have been shooting for years.
the HUX is LOUD! Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
This is likely due to reduced port pop from less high pressure gas venting out of the ejection port. This does nothing to reduce signature downrange though.
Thanks for the info what about the 9.6” .300 blk which can without an adjustable gas block would be a good option? Currently running Omega 300.
B&t has been on my radar. You never see real world info on it
they seem to be very 007. we have some of them and many more on the way. we will keep getting good info out there for you all. we do like em! Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
You forgot the LaRue tranquillo
We're working our way through all the brands, thank you for the suggestion. On another note, UA-cam has been targeting our account and other 2A channels by randomly turning off comments on videos. We'd greatly appreciate it if you would consider subscribing if you haven't done so already, so we can defeat the algorithm. Thanks for watching 🍻
❤❤❤
i just got a ventum for my 11.5 virtus it prefering the best out of the other cans for backpressure is great to hear. how did it preform for tone ?
It did well for a flow-through. We have a video we'll be releasing in the very near future where we do a sound test on about 20 suppressors so stay tuned!
we filmed that and will post soon.. Low BP cans head to head all things considered Thank you for your support and positive feed back! Sorry about the comments going off line. YT is targeting us with this tactic, please help us defeat them with you likes, Subs and Shares.
Any plans to get the cat suppressors?
I’d love to hear any experience you’ve had with the Rugged Surge X? I know it’s a bit newer so I haven’t seen a lot of reviews yet. I got one in jail and I’m hoping it was a good choice 😊
We gave one on order. Thank you for your positive feed back and support!
I have a shooting range at my home and have had a suppressor starting in the mid 90s. If sound suppression is not the goal and flash suppression is, why not run a top of the line flash suppressor and skip getting a can altogether. If a suppressor isn't quiet it's just a huge waste of money. Sound reduction and being lightweight should be the end goal, it is for me.
good feed back. def diff missions and goals for our rifles and in the end getting good info to those looking to achieve a mission is my goal. =)
hey can you do a 300blk video please? great content!!
Thank you! I actually don't have one. I am not into 300 BO.. I am sure ill need to make a vid as to why soon. Thank you for your support and positive feed back! Sorry about the comments going off line. YT is targeting us with this tactic, please help us defeat them with you likes, Subs and Shares.
I'd like to see this test done on the scrambler ti dorect thread and qd.... I think its low back pressure and only 6 oz at 4.75" I'm really thinking of getting one
Thanks for the suggestion! We are in the process of reaching out to Cobalt to see if they will send some cans for testing.
we will reach out to them! Thank you for the positive feed back and support!
Would like to see some more data on the suppressors for the world market also. ASE, Silent steel, Nieload all make flow through models also.
Does shooting 5.56 through a 7.62 can count as lower back pressure?
Not really.
🇺🇸
Thanks for watching 🍻
At the ear, 556k the sound at the shooter is 6db plus less then competition. idk why everyone cares about 3db difference max out front.
if we are talking FlowK, Id say its harsh on the ears, even for the shooter, even for the spotter. but it was not made for max sound reduction. Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
I would like to see a video on the BUSHMASTER MUTA BM556 to see how it compares
Thank you for the suggestion!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I had not yet heard of that company. But I will reach out.
Looking at buying my first suppressor, I want a 30 cal can what would your recommend, looking for the quitest but best can for factory platforms( no adjustable gas block and so on) going on a ar 5.56, 300blk,/ bolt 308
Been looking at
Q thunder chicken
Dead air sandman
BT 762
Huxwrk 762
I have the b&t srbs 762 (the one with the free tax stamp) and I’m very impressed. Sorry to say I don’t have any other suppressor to compare it to but I’m happy. No ringing when shooting 556
Sub’d keep up the awesome content!
Thank you, much appreciated 🍻
Rex Silentium quietly released a low backpressure option. Might be a good/cheap option for your tests.
we have reached out to them. we will keep trying. Thank you for your support and positive feed back! Sorry about the comments going off line. YT is targeting us with this tactic, please help us defeat them with you likes, Subs and Shares.
Where is CAT
That's been widely requested, we've reached out to the manufacturer to see if they can sens some for testing. Thanks for watching
Its a joke and baffled trash with a hole in the baffles, nothing but the same old from the rest of the companies that cannot copy Huxwrx.
@@SilencerSyndicate I'll keep a lookout on your channel to see. You have a great format
@@popnetwork9106you must not know what you’re talking about the CAT WB kicks the hux ass! When it comes to tone and suppression it also is short. Best can on the market in my opinion
@@popnetwork9106it’s 3d printed in inconel btw.
Consider watching it before purchasing.
the velos is really good
Hey, what exactly does low back pressure mean? Any engineers or gunsmiths in the house?
I would imagine the max back pressure is determined by the powder in the round, and what a suppressor does is extend the dwell time of that pressure in the barrel?
I'm trying to wrap my head around what actually is happening in the gun between the gas system and the end of the muzzle.
If anyone can explain to a dummy lol! Thanks!
Well done. Would like to see how a Griffin can stacks up
They emailed us this evening and it looks like we’ll be getting our hands on some soon
Do you own a GSL ?
Are the b&t's still sploding?
we have had no issues with our B&T cans so far, we will keep testing and keep you informed. Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
@Ertactical well, that's good. I'm just hoping that incident was a one-off.
Are you at Ben Avery?
sure am! Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
Spectre Cat needs to be in this comparison. Spectre's design absolutely destroys everything else in this video in-regards to "flow-through" technology while also maintaining a high sound suppression performance.
Yes, we are working on getting some CATs for comparison. We've paid for 50+ suppressors at this point and we're trying to work directly with manufacturers to make this channel more sustainable financially. On a similar note, UA-cam has been targeting our account and other 2A channels by randomly turning off comments on videos. We'd greatly appreciate it if you would consider subscribing if you haven't done so already, so we can defeat the algorithm. Thanks for watching 🍻
agreed, they have not gotten back to us but we will keep reaching out to em. Thank you for your support and positive feed back! Sorry about the comments going off line. YT is targeting us with this tactic, please help us defeat them with you likes, Subs and Shares.
they are not flow thru at all it is baffled junk
I’m thinking about getting one is it pretty quiet ?
Low back pressure suppressors tend to be louder than high back pressure suppressors. The most balanced suppressor we've tested thus far is the PTR VENT 3. It's quiet as a Nomad L on a 16" rifle and low back pressure. Check out our review if you haven't already seen it.
We are at a point where we can almost have it all! Low BP and quiet.
@@SilencerSyndicate goes along with the recent pewscience review too. apparently it has absolutely outstanding performance. im sure huxwrx is still king in terms of backpressure, but vent 3 seems to be an amazing all rounder.
can you do 6.5cm?
We're going to do a video on hunting and precision rifle cartridges here in the near future, stay tuned!
We will rock on the 556 cans then hit some other players.. like 308, 6.5 22 and more! Thank you for your positive feed back and support.
Much more to come.. Thank you for your feed back and positive comments.
