Iodine is important but too much is not good for the thyroid. I recently tried a kelp green powder to add to smoothies and it made my skin break out terribly. And I don't suffer from acne. Soon as I stopped, skin cleared up.
I'm either sensitive or I get enough in my daily diet. It's a delicate balance with iodine.

Go 100% ORGANIC fruits, vegetables, grass fed beef, free range chickens, ocean fish and seafood. This means DITCH THE PROCESS FOODS AND SUGAR. There are a few gems, like the GIMME ROASTED SEAWEED. But, there really isn't much factory processed foods that are good for us. ALL fast foods are junk food. ALL fried food is really toxic to our bodies, especially the oil filtered and reused in restaurants. If you haven't noticed yet, that soon after you eat fried food, you're passing it to the toilet. My Mother as in her 50's when chocolate became her laxative. I think this was due to all the fried foods she was eating and I tried to convince her. But, hardening of the arteries took her way too soon, as she had just turned 60 when she went home to the Lord. I just turned 61, and I'm not having any of that loose bowel crap haunting me. And, I feel for those who do. I had unbearable IBS in my prepubescence in which I rolled into a ball of pain. I no longer eat pizza or highly acidic things for breakfast REGULARLY, but I do sometimes, especially if I can eat something mellow or comforting beforehand. I just never want to experience that level of pain on purpose, so I avoid it. Otherwise, I'd have to be on a diet for ulcers; basically baby foods; mashed potatoes, yogurt, vegetables. Nothing high in acid. I ate bread or crackers to absorb the acid in my stomach if it got to high or I was hungry way before a meal.

Can you write a book or list of what to substitute for brands we are used to buying without losing the taste we love. Like a replacement for my favorite Ragu Parmesian and Romano sauce with Prince thin spaghetti noodles.
