Yea i feel u on that. I have learned sooo much from this channel. So glad I come across this channel. Its helped me avoid things and let me know what to get and what to look for in different items. So i know what to get. Plus I share my findings with others like my dad. We are both researching daily about foods to be eating. And overall just health and other things too. Plus me and my dad are on a alkaline diet to detox and eat right. It comes with many more benefits and is very needed. Our diets consists of raw veggies, rawfruits, nuts, alot of spring water etc. We got a nice list of things to have and I try follow. We know it will take time to fully adopt to it. Becausw u know alot of us hasn't really eaten this way before growing up it was alot of junk food. So u got to give the body time to adjust to something different. Its a lifestyle change is what it is. So im really working on it. Starting now not later to really discipline me mentally and physically so its like second nature to me. This is your life we are talking about and if u are serious about it. You would want to do all this. And take time to really research the kinds of things we eat on a daily basis that might not be as good as u think. And overall just know what u are really eating and what it does to the body in general. Also being I'm a Parkour athlete and im very passionate about it. So thats a little on me and what im doing. Wish there was a grocery store where you didn’t have to look at ingredients where everything is good to buy. U Even have to look through ingredients at Whole Foods. Would be awesome to walk in and just pick what u wanted and know it was good. Like a Bobby approved grocery store all on its on!!!
That'd be so great. I used to treat Trader Joe's that way years ago, but not anymore. I recently bought some tea bags from there and read the ingredients... literally said "organic natural flavors, natural flavors" - IN TEA BAGS?! Come on, TJs.
Yes to this! Our 10 year old son and I love to watch together but we'd probably need triple the amount of food as you 2 with a baby. Our 2 boys have huge appetites!!
I store my kale and spinach in containers with dry paper towels. I’ve had it last up to 10 days. Paper absorbs the moisture which prevents wilting and mushy leaves s
Brawny brand paper towels now has a new size called "Tear A Square", where a perforated full sheet separates into four 5.5" squares. Great idea for times when you don't need a full sheet. Saves a lot of waste. I like this product so much that I've switched from my regular brand of paper towels. The "Tear A Square" towels also work great as full size and half size. You hardly notice the perforations.
Yes JC, I do too, especially if buying a big 'spring greens' salad container, I always wrap the salad in fresh paper towels. They do prevent it getting mushy too fast, especially if you only wash what you're using.
Bobby you and your camera man are soooo awesome and brave for doing this! It can’t be easy being watched and getting kicked out sometimes, but your knowledge has seriously made a big difference for me and my family. Thank you 🙏🏻
I love the green kale. It’s very tasty, and I even eat the stalks. I sauté it in EVO with Bella mushrooms, add in 3 eggs and some crumbled blue cheese. Yum!
Awesome Content!!!! I feel so much more knowledgeable about the foods I purchase and consume. This is like taking the little red pill. Grocery Shopping will never be the same again.
Bobby, you rock! It's so freeing, when you can walk into a grocery store, with such knowledge on food. Thanks so much, keep up the good work. We love it!!!👍🙏👏 Thanks to you as well, Art.🙌💥
Bobby! I realized that it doesnt matter what your talking about anymore, I just like to watch you even if it doesnt interest me. Your so good on tv. Lol. Ofcourse I love your videos and cookbook.
Bobby, I started watching your channel on Jan 6, 2020 when I was sick, at home from work for two days... Omg! Where have you been my entire life!?! I recent lost 62lbs on my own eating properly and I hit the gym 7 days per week in 16 months. Watching your channel has been A GAME CHANGER! I have stepped it up 100% and I feel amazing, which I was already feeling fantastic since my weight loss. You’re amazing! Your wife is supportive and great. Your baby looks so healthy and beautiful! Please keep up your phenomenal work! By the way, I put ALL my friends and coworkers onto your channel. You’re a god send! 👏🏻
Thanks! I actually seen what the health in 2017 and the game changers 8 weeks ago! Totally amazing information with science to back up their claims. Good finds!
Funny, my grandma would always put a drop of bleach in the water when she washed a big bunch of collards. Yes she triple washed them and only treated the first soak, but yeah, she cleaned those greens
This is defiantly one of my favorites channels, i have learned so much, this week alone, I have incorporated Silk - half and half with oat milk and coconut milk, Coconut Sugar, and Peptides in my daily coffee. WOW. Thank you Bobby and Art, keep on pushing
Okay, first of all, you are KILLING it here on UA-cam. I can barely keep up with your uploading in the best way. Then, I get to binge watch new videos. 2nd, the sugar addiction and THIS topic I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. YAY! Thank you!!!!
I just started shopping at wholefoods since you mentioned the discount for Amazon prime members. I agree the avocados are a bit more expensive but they are always beautiful and perfect inside. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge with us!
Your channel is my guilty pleasure. There's such great content here so I binge and binge and binge 😊. Thanks for the hard work that you and your friend keeps putting in.
I've noticed that avocados that are pear-shaped, rather than apple-shaped tend to have smaller pits. Sometimes the round avos have huge seeds with a thin layer of flesh.
I use the curly kale after I rinse it then I chop finely then put pure cold pressed olive oil with lemon 🍋 then cover it pit in fridge up for a week . Omg it’s so soft and yummy 🤤

To keep boxed spinach fresh, place a few paper towels inside - I wrap it around the bottom & top of leaves to absorb moisture. Keeps them fresh a few days linger!
I appreciate in particular the information about Organic this is something I have historically just thrown my hands up in the air and just pick anything cheap!
Kale stalks are fine, just not raw in salad. Before kale became an “it” thing, Southerners ate it and other greens all the time. We braise them, which tenderizes the stalks. Also, Southern cooking is about using every part of an ingredient, so you use some stalk in your braised kale.
I was having lower back pain/kidney pain and when I discussed it with my healthcare professional, she warned me that eating too much spinach is actually really difficult on you body because it's difficult to digest. Since I've begun eating other leafy greens instead, i haven't had the problem at all.
I would like Bobby to chime in here too. I always use some white vinegar in the water when cleaning produce. And for apples, cukes, peppers, I pour it right on them and use paper towel to take off as much of the wax as possible. Then rinse.
If you buy organic I don't think the wax will hurt you, but if you sprinkle a little baking soda and water on your hand and give the Apple a good scrub with that it seems to get some of the residue off.
How is this guy not at millions of followers... I am literally sitting here with my notebook ready to write down everything he says in every video like i'm in class xD
Always a great video. I take my fruits and veggies and soak for 5 minutes in a mixture of 1 cup vinegar, 1 cup water, 1 tbsp baking soda. Suppose to remove 90% of the gunk. Hope its true.
I wouldn't use the produce bag to cover the parsley. The dirty parsley was in it so I would soak in vinegar and water for about 20 minutes, rinse and dry. Put in a container with a paper towel and it stays fresh for at least a week. If I don't finish the bunch of whatever before it starts to turn I dry it in the microwave so it is then turned into a dried herb that keeps for months. Just my opinion. Great video as always.
Hello , this is first time I saw your program. 2022- it was 2 years ago. I like how you tell it like it is - your opinions . I am impressed. I have learned a lot from your 5 programs that I watched today. 4/26/23 thank you
Diane Erickson Thank you for noticing he said that also. My hubby seriously cant tell the difference between peas and green beans. Even when eating them. I cant for the life of me figure out how you confuse them. Peas are round balls that taste like peas and grow in a pod. Green beans are a pod and taste like green beans- totally different flavor?!?! LoLololol
The tough kale makes excellent cream soup or smoothies. I grab it when its on sale and throw it in the freezer whole. When ready to use I cut it up and use it. You may have to strain it if u dont like the fibrous texture.
Hey Bobbie! Before your herbs go bad try drying them in the microwave. Microwave on high for 45 to 60 seconds depending on the herb. Works great and fast. Microwave on paper towels only not parchment paper. No waste!
Love these videos! I don't have a whole foods or aldi near me so i'm always stuck with not so great options. Would love more videos for walmart and target since those are near me.
I am new to your channel and lovin it 😍 I learned two new things today: buy the flat bags and no lumpy chunky frozen veggies. Could you please send me the link for your video on the dirty dozen. If organic strawberries are still sprayed how do you recommend cleaning them? Love the T-shirt. So funny 😂
Please, please, PLEASE do a video on reducing food waste. I recently began work at a rural grocery, and have developed a reputation for buying the produce we're about to throw away. Peppers that don't have a perfect shape won't sell, but they're perfect for prepping fajitas. Ugly apples taste the same in pies. Etc. I now plan many of my meals around rescued produce.
I throw parsley and spinich right into the freezer. Then you can just scrunch it up to use it. No chopping....breaks right off into little pieces. Good for a really long time.
While a little unconventional, I would like to see a Q & A. This could be a monthly recurrence. I have so many questions about what I am buying & making and I am sure other viewers do as well!
I always wash my veggies in cool, soapy water, to get the farm dirt off. I rinse well, then I refill my sink or bowl with clean water and some vinegar. I let the veggies soak for a few minutes, then drain. I don't rinse the vinegar off. Vinegar is a natural bacteria killer, plus it helps revive wilted greens. The guy that owns our local organic farm taught me to use the vinegar. It's how he keeps his from spoiling as fast, especially things like strawberries.
I so love your videos!! Thank you:) only 2 thing 1. No such thing as a superfood really and 2. kale is thyrogenic and for anyone with any family history of thyroid related issues, should always cook kale and other thyrogenic veggies. Much love
I love to shop at my local Asian and Latin markets for tubers ( taro, yuca, ginger, turmeric, etc) and for fresh tropical fruits. Specially limes and herbs (lemon grass, cilantro, mint, etc.). In my opinion, they offer the best prices and quality for these items.
Flavcity channel is OITSTANDING!!!! The commitment, passion is incredible. Bobby don't stop doing what you do, you are making a difference worldwide. Thanks for all the information you provide us, that allows us to make better decisions to have a good health. Bobby you are AWESOME!!!!!🎉🙋👍
I wonder when they will finally put disposable gloves so everybody and their dog will stop touching those poor fruits and vegetables. I saw so many sick people that are touching every single apple or avocado. That's disgusting. I'm from Ukraine and they have disposable gloves everywhere there.
I don't know where this grocery store is, but I want one in our are. The fresh fruit and veggie section is huge. I love having a wide variety of food you can choose from and even trying something new as well.

tm4tare I about died in his one video when he said “it’s a swarm of Waldos” 😂😂😂
Love Lacinato/Elephant Kale. Org Baby Kale is good also.
Use Org Spinach in my smoothies 3-5x week.
Wow Whole Foods gave you and Art permission to film, aawwww man I love hearing you say Waldo! 😜😅
I throw parsley and spinich right into the freezer. Then you can just scrunch it up to use it. No chopping....breaks right off into little pieces. Good for a really long time.
Omgoodness, edgy tee shirt!
While a little unconventional, I would like to see a Q & A. This could be a monthly recurrence. I have so many questions about what I am buying & making and I am sure other viewers do as well!
wait you NEED to spray or they die? but I have had strawberries for 20 years, they haven't died yet and I never spray them?
In large batches
@@lj-if2nm ya still don't NEED to...
I have 100% wild untouched strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries on my land.
@@anthonythorp7291 me too, So many raspberries! love em, never been sprayed
The distance from land to plate is much further when purchased..than grown yourself. 🙈
Haha “hipster ingredient”
definitely, agreed. way back in the 2010s it was definitely hipsters that grew it into a household veggie for vegans, also a hipster thing now
Bobby I wish you would write a book!!
Youre so knowledgeable & kind & a great chef

Damn O’driscolls!
I so love your videos!! Thank you:) only 2 thing 1. No such thing as a superfood really and 2. kale is thyrogenic and for anyone with any family history of thyroid related issues, should always cook kale and other thyrogenic veggies. Much love
Organic cabbage tastes better and only costs 10¢ per pound more.
That shirt is screaming “demonetization”
Something is off with that message...not even funny
I think it’s funny

I wonder when they will finally put disposable gloves so everybody and their dog will stop touching those poor fruits and vegetables. I saw so many sick people that are touching every single apple or avocado. That's disgusting. I'm from Ukraine and they have disposable gloves everywhere there.
Юлия Петрова I know! This drives me nuts.
Wash fruits and vegetables in vinger water rinse
I don't know where this grocery store is, but I want one in our are. The fresh fruit and veggie section is huge. I love having a wide variety of food you can choose from and even trying something new as well.
