Seems like a pretty good rule of thumb regarding comfort level at 100% brake. I recently upgraded to Invictas from V3s and even using the softest elastomers I was experiencing foot discomfort for about 2 weeks because I was not used to using that much pressure, but eventually the muscles in my foot/ankle got accustomed to it and it's not a problem anymore.
Thanks for this video. specifically the part where you said that the heel shouldn’t be lifting really helped me out the most. Someone previously told me that I should be lifting, and I’ve always felt pretty inconsistent sometimes. After this video I asked random twitch streamers and ALL of them said they don’t lift the heel either. Thanks for this video, extremely informative and helpful.
The effect in sim hub, which iracing using in their misc->LFE/Bass shaker output for "wheels slip" is "traction loss" . But it is left and right of the car (in iRacing they have mono output only)
Yeah I’ve gotta find a way to arrange my pedals to allow the 90 degree angle with my pedals. My current setup doesn’t really allow that kind of angle so I need to adjust the actual base (Thrustmaster t-lcm) to somehow raise the front up.
Man, thanks for this vid! I thought main brain is going nuts when SimHub send ABS-vibrations but from my logical thinking I knew that I am currently not in ABS in iRacing. So it is true, that the accuracy is just not there. Will deactivate it and try the gear shift too for the fun. TANK YOU! :D Do you have any more tipps regarding brake drills in iRacing to not brake into ABS every corner?
So you're not using wheel lock / wheel lock and slip on the brake pedal in Simhub? You seem to have wheel slip set to vibrate through the throttle pedal. I only have one motor and use it on the brake pedal for wheel lock only I thought this would be the main thing to use it on.
Your video for sure, what I been looking for on pedals, I have fanatec Eilte V2 and trying to set it on my rig in a way, I’m comfortable and learn trail braking. I have a GT Omega ART rig. The problem I can only do 15%-25% brake force. Idk if my pedals to close or needs to be little more far back on the rig.
Great video! I noticed you're using a more open wheel setup in regards to your seating and pedals. I too am doing the same but I'm struggling to get monitor, steering wheel and seating position in line to replicate more of an F1 feel. Would it be possible to see pictures of your rig?
how to deal with the squeaking noises. noticed them on this video aswell when you press the brake. Im just a beginner and buyed a fanatec elite LC pedalset that comes elastomere and a none official spring. This spring (i think it must be the spring) squeaks while getting compressed and I really hate this noise. but none the less want to retain some travel distance.
It's the rig I think. When I had my older rig, my biggest pressure was 35KG. I think Ultimates are made for a sturdy rig, otherwise you can't use them to their full potential.
Good question - I distanced them in such a way that my foot are going perpendicular to the pedal - so I had to spread them out a bit more - this only works if you have just a brake and throttle pedal, since having the clutch will make it impossible!
Nice tip and on the point..I swapped my clutch to the centre with the break and help my left knee..clutch became aesthetic now i dont use it at all lol
Shave SECONDS per lap! - gitgudracing.com/simracingcourse
that tip about bringing the heel to the pedal shaved almost half a second off my time at suzuka and im much more consistent. great tip thank you!
let's go! yes - it helps A LOT!
@@GitGudRacing I have VRS pedals on a Trak Racer rig and I cant keep my heel on the base of the pedal as there is no heel stop. What can I do?
cool that you've put that thumbnail for the video, now I can finally support a local UA-cam sim racer:)
multam!

Cheers man, happy it helped!
Having the same issue with my Simucube passive throttle. What changes did you make to prevent the heel from lifting?

Simply the best professor out there !! Can’t wait to our next session
Cheers bro!
Gonna book some lessons when I get back from my holidays, looking forward to it
I'll make sure we'll improve a lot!
Excellent!! Ordered the brake upgrade!! I found a good settng, but eager to try this !!!
I believe you channel is going to be big. Great work man, love your videos.
Thanks a lot man for the kind words. Really appreciate it!
Now that's a video I'm definitely saving, thanks for the detailed explanation man!
Good video, but I'd say abs telemetry from iracing for simhub is pretty reliable, no delay whatsoever !

Marian is the GOAT
Im taking care of your pedals bro!
Very helpful, thank you! Question - are you only using the brake mod kit's spring, and the rest of the pieces are from your HE Ultimate+ parts?

I got a expencive simrig and the simagic p1000 but for me its not possible to bring the heel to the rest , what did i wrong ?
you physically can't even if you adjust the pedal angle from your rig because the pedal faces are upright at 90 degrees
Does the simagic HPR work with throttle in iRacing? I remember it didn't before (so I bought only one for the brake pedal)

Yes, join my discord! I have some there or I can send them directly to you.
Already on there and I'm a moron, I should have looked there first! Thank you for your reply! Can you send me the link to your post on discord?
Just send me a direct message!
hello, I am so curious that how can you connect simagic shake motor to he pedal? Did you use simagic controller?
Yep exactly!
I have the best settings of simhub for the those haptics ! Where can I send it to you? Nice video!
Oh! Im curios! Join my discord server and dm me. Thanks!
Care to share with me too?😅 just got the haptics last week and struggling to find good settings.
What pedal set is this?
I think I can use that Throttle dampener on VRS
Its the Heusinkveld Ultimates
Nice work! Thanks
Cheers man!

hard to say, i'm dealing with squeaking as well. i'll let you know if i find a fix
Probably need to lubricate a contact point somewhere.
I used WD40..help with corrosion too
I can't go above 20 kg for the brake with the heusinkveld ultimate. Am I weak? my rig is playseat challenge

@@GitGudRacingthanks will probably change it. I also felt it was the rig
I'm trying to figure out what track that was. I'm stumped.
It's Aragon!

Yes
