- This Anomaly addon really is the gift that keeps on giving. I did a video on this one recently but they just updated it earlier today with ANOTHER BRAND NEW MAP and I love it!

this is something i've been wanting since my favourite part of open world games is exploring areas, i only wish there was more emphasis on scavenging in stalker. being able to rifle through cabinets and stuff would be cool in my opinion.
Yes for sure. There is a game I did a review on a while ago called Chernobylite that has alot of that type of thing.

That I highly doubt. The x-ray engine already has trouble handling larger levels like the Truck Cemetery.
The game would need a new engine.

This map will have a huge effect in both Story and Warfare mode since Rostok will lose its Geopolitical Significance and Enemy factions of Duty can just pass through the new location from now.

Well anomaly is a survival game, OG stalker series and stalker 2 is not, so my guess is that's why.
I might not get S2 on launch. I'm a bit nervous given the current state of things.
I'm probably going to wait until this add-on is finished being made and then ill play this for a while.

And when you get it, you notice that after all, it was you who changed.
even with 100+ new levels, it feels kind of shallow and empty. what we need is a story building, like what if we choose in new game something about our character, like a background of sorts, we choose the goals for the gamethrough and we follow the series of quests, when we want to end the run we get a storytelling about our adventure, something about why the main character left the zone etc.
Yeah it does need more scripted quests.
Yeah, same. Wandering around and doing fetch quests for hours is no longer fun. The community should get together and create a brand new storyline with its very own unique lore on new levels.
Finally that kind of new map im waited for! Great news!

Hello there. Have you heard about Call of The Zone? If you're interested i could give some advice with the add-ons.
Heard about it? I've played it quite a bit but my issues with it have always been it freezes up way too much, has a decent amount of crashes too but the biggest thing is the freezing.
@@BrokenCircle1 Sure i get some crashes often, but i'm not sure what you mean by freezing. PC stops and have to rebot it? Or just the game?
That said, i like it very much, since i have not much time to play thus i don't look for a "hardcore" Stalker experience, but there're some add-ons that make it shine for me. What do you think? Does it worth it or no in your experience?
I'm just curious of course, since i don't listen/watch too many ppl who'd reviews mods.

These new POIs might have me dust off Anomaly and start playing again...maybe. My biggest issue was more to do with game breaking bugs tbh.
Yes I understand this. So many people talk about how stable Anomaly is and it really isn't. Has alot of bugs still and basically requires addons and its quite easy to break.
I personally am waiting until this addon is done so I don't have to keep starting a new game.
Its not that bad, Im Gamma player and after fresh install I had maybe 2-3 crashes and no game breaking stuff,
@@Yem1010 My CTD moment is in Zaton. I just started the ISG storyline and for some reason there is a particular controller spawn that causes the game to freak out and crash. After trying everything I can to fix it I finally gave up.
IMHO I think Zaton and Jupiter need to be divided up into different sections to ease the load on the engine.

I downloaded the mod, I set it from mod manager, but the mod did not work, is there a reason?

I think just copy paste it into the folder, but get mod organizer first. Then you can de activate and delete mods easily
This mod should be added to GAMMA modpack tbh. Any idea why its not there yet ?
