Wow. I’ve heard brutal music, brutal vocals… but those may be the most relentlessly brutal lyrics that I’ve heard. Impressive.
I saw them do this live on their last tour. There are a dozen versions of this up on YT, at least, and they are all worth watching. This is the most polished, best staged version, but they are all great. Yes, see them live when you get the chance, they are really life-changing.

Jynger, I love this song. It's the proper FU song. The lyrics are brutal and funny. "Ten minutes of limp gymnastics". What a diss!!!!! Jynger, if you react to Band Maid's newest release from that same concert, "Endless Story" was the closing song of the concert, make sure you get some Kleenex.
The audio in their live performances is unmatched.

A close friend of Band-Maid's lead singer Saiki was devastated by her husband's affair during the Covid lockdown. An outraged and angry Saiki wrote the blistering lyrics to the song "Hate? which burned her friend's adulterous husband's memory to charred ashes. All the band members lend their considerable talents to make this a most powerful and meaningful song of justifiable anger and rage. "Hate?" is an incredible song from a truly incredible band.

Saiki leaves no question about the fact someone pissed her off! Remember, Saiki has a Barefoot Assassin to do her dirty work, this guy should be very scared! Epic bass/guitar "conversation"! I saw where Misa and Kanami were called the Six String Samurai and the Five String Assassin and couldn't agree more!
Six String Samuai, movie dredged up a from a while ago, needed a sequel. Kanami would shred Buddy, Death (Metal) and the Russians again and proclaimed Queen of Vegas. Misa would be Misa, crackacoldone and lay wrath.
All in Japanese, Kurosawa-noir black and white, except for the blood. As Saiki said: "Doj it"
Unfortunately, the genitalman in question tried to "off" himself, but luckily survived. Both the former-husband and wife had to take some time off from their celebrity schedules to heal, Po! Sadly, this happens when we think with the wrong "head." 🦍🍌 Saiki wrote the lyrics from a 3rd person prospective, Po! Side note: it appears Saiki is a "The Simpsons" fan, and wanted to use Bart's "I Hate you" phrase in a song, and here we have it, Po!

Theses girls are so good, they're bad for music. Every time they release a new song there are another couple thousand more musicians that say to themselves "Why do I even bother playing, I will never be this good" or "I've been playing for 30 years and will never be able to do this." lol

Band Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila, Hanabie (and many more)...when are the North American and European music industry and music media people going to embrace and support these bands (as UA-cam and Spotify have done)? IF people have any reservations about "language" or "culture", they will get past them in very short order. (When Lucille Ball insisted that Desi Arnaz play her TV [as well as real-life] husband in "I Love Lucy", the fears that many American network executives put forth [i.e. that America would never accept a multi-racial marriage in a TV series] proved to be unfounded, as the show quickly became the #1 comedy in the country). "They're Japanese"..."They sometimes sing in Japanese"..."The genres that they play in are passe"..."They're all-female bands in male-dominated genres".... Let's see: "So what?"; more "So what?"; "Not really"; "Not so much in 2024". Give these bands the chance that they deserve: the average North American/European rock fans will LOVE them!
