Alleen de ingang van het filter, gemakkelijk te bereiken, daar bevindt zich een klein stukje filtermateriaal dat regelmatig gespoeld wordt, want daar zit dan wat grof vuil tegen aan (plantendeeltjes, dode vliegjes, enz...). Het bodemvuil in het watergedeelte (grof vuil) kan ook regelmatig (2 x per jaar) eens afgeheveld worden.
Maar voor de rest gaat eigenlijk alleen maar "proper" water het filter in door het overloop systeem. De microscopische vuiltjes en alle nitraten en nitrieten worden daar dan verwerkt door de bacteriecultuur, en daar moet je van af blijven. (= biologisch filter)

In this biological environment there is no cleaning, exept fot the windows, removing some dead leaves, ... The biological filtre is very important, spraying the walls and plants regularly brings all the dirty shit a.o. to this filtre where the bacterial live does the job. There is no problem having frogs in this environment, many years of experience proves this. They enjoy such a natural environment.
Basic is the isolation material (2 to 15 cm) wich is modelated (special technique) and then covered with a special material to keep natural materialon it. It 's impossible to explain in details. Sorry. You have to see how I do it.
@890321654987 Impossible to explain, it's my own system. The plants can grow on top of the wall, not into them. The toplayer is too hard for the roots ... but everywhere there are holes where the plants (epyphites) can be fixed in and after a while the roots of bromeliads are fixed onto the wall (or bottem, or waterfal).
