I keep thinking I am seeing this at a store and I cant look up its price and get the tidbits I need to make my own. It will be sorely missed if he takes it off. Beats a trip to Hawaii well almost.
Dude! I have seen some cool vivariums but yours is epic! It has given me some ideas that incorporate some of your methods. I would really appreciate it if you told me the dimensions of your tank and how you made the background. Once again your tank is sweet!

I want to do my entire livingroom like that. Are you up for hire? lol I saw some diy pics of this you had on photobucket. Did you seal it with polyurethane spray or something? What sort of materials did you use to finish/coat it? Coconut fiber? Sands? Paints?

I have ventilation grids in the top and behind the front. Air circulates from the front to the top of the viv. No mechanical ventilation is needed.

If you watch at 2:07 you will see a very small lizard in the top left corner of the tank move a bit down the glass.
There was a Lepidodactylus lugubris living in there but I don't find the gecko very suitable for such a wet environment.
