    For those of you who don't know, I live in Australia and wild dogs cause over $22 million in livestock damage every year and feral cats are the single biggest threat to the small native animals and birds etc. They have caused at least 20 different species to be extinct and are endangering many more. I just do my part in keeping the numbers down in my area.

    BTW, decades ago my German Shepherd bitch ran up onto a sharp stick like that; it went down her throat and literally tore off a tonsil. Vet said it was hanging on by a thread and causing her to not be very happy until it was removed. That sorry sucker you just bagged must have run onto that spear full tilt to have it gone that deep and broke off; he probably would have died a nasty death of sepsis within a few weeks anyway.

    Thank you for including scientific names. The meaning for common names can change to mean different species as local, country and even language or culture changes. 👍The Geek translations for brachy is 'short' and chiton is 'tunic', the scientific names can tell a person so much about the named species from its morphology, to its local and even the author who first discovered it or described it.

    Why are you doing this to these poor animals how can you do this

    • @intothenight1993
      @intothenight1993  Рік тому +3

      You could ask them the same question after they have ripped the back ends out of a few calves or sheep just for the fun of it. They don't always kill to eat. They often just mame animals for the thrill of the chase and leave them to die a slow and horrible death. And they don't stop at calves and sheep but if you had a pet dog etc they would most likely kill it too. How would that make you feel?
      So in answer to your question. I do it ultimately to protect our livestock which is our livelihood from ruthless killers that don't care two hoots about any other animals. I do love dogs and I wish they weren't so destructive so I could just leave them alone but we just cant afford to sit back and let them waste thousands of dollars. 👍 I hope that sheds some light on why I do what I do.

      I love dogs and have a lot of respect for them but unfortunately they kill our livestock. So i try and keep their numbers down so they don't keep causing trouble.

      No it is not bad. I live in Australia and kill wild dogs because they cause more than $22 million in livestock damage every year and the government pays us a bounty to control their numbers. And i kill feral cats because they are the single biggest threat to our small native mammals etc. They have been the contributing cause of extinction to at least 20 different species and threatening many more. The government has been trying for years to get on top of their numbers and have spent more than $50 million to try and eradicate them. I'm just doing my part to help in my area. So what I'm doing is a good thing.

    Gotta be kidding about that grand canyon remark that was a little pimple compared to the grand canyon but there is other places in aus that would stand next to the grande canyon for sure nice work with the feral removal though
