This is the best tip I have seen in years. I never would have thought just hot water would soften something like fertile tite that easily, or softer hot melt glues. That’s a bunch.
Grizzly Jim I use the same thing to remove nocks from my wood cedar shafts it works great.. So when are you reviewing on the range the Black Hunter Bow you unboxed a few weeks ago?
Nice tip Jim, Cheers! ...I had a snapped nock, To get it out I used a carbon steel screw, Screwed it in and then used plyers to pull it out. One arrow saved :D

Short and sweet and to the point, keep them coming. Stay safe and thank you.
Wow that was a hot tip and straight to the point 🤣

As a beginner archer I got a question can you remove a safety glass arrows tip???

I like this, makes it more simple than using the stovetop flame and risking damaging the arrow or dripping excess glue on the range.
I have been in trouble with my wife on more than one occasion because of this 😅
Where can a buy these kind of points
Tks for the video! A video removing inserts and broken nocks would be interesting too!
Regards!
can use this method to remove vanes from shaft? TQ
Can you put them in with hot water?
So this method works with wooden arrows too?
If you use hot melt then yeah, but be mindful that you don’t get your wooden arrow too wet
@@MerlinArchery thx
Was that epoxy or hot melt?
Hot melt (this won't work with epoxy)
I actually did this today... And I even used my Grizzly Jim cup 😄☕
I’ve been shooting trad bows for 40 years & I never once thought of using nick pliers for pulling points. I can never seem to find my regular pliers.
What about super glue?
If you listen closely you can hear his genius.
