Thank you for watching the video, It means a lot to me .

I don't care how choreographed and cheesy that Lars run from drumset to drumset during the gallop riff (3:28) is to most people. I think landing it is metal as fuck. 🤘
I think the problem is their favorite bands don't do crap even when they are 25 years younger lol.
It's a matter of putting up a show
Actually, he was a tiny bit late, but James caught it and just continued the riff until he heard Lars back on.
How about Jason doing that gallop around the stage during "the gallop"👌
Battery - live in Seattle '89 is by far the most intense performance of theirs!
Cannot kill the Battery..BATTERY!..BAT-TER_RY! It's hard to believe that they can play that song even faster in that live performance in Seattle. Best live concert ever recorded!
Lars was the reason I wanted to learn drums... In particular, the drums on And Justice For All. Long story short, I never learned drums, I ended up playing guitar instead. *shrugs* But I still love drums
My favorite live show from Metallica is their Live Sh*t: Bing and Purge album done in Mexico City, but it's hard to go wrong with any of their 80s and 90s live shows.
I agree. My fav as well, but I like this one a lot too. Lately, from 2010 Orgullo Pasion y Gloria. That's the last concert with this kind of energy in my opinion.
Only thing that sucked about that Album is, that they cut Master of Puppets.
The studio version is actually longer. They cut out a section during the live performances. I think there are only 2 live performance videos of them doing the whole song.
Jasons gallop around the stage during "the gallop" 🔥 🔥!!
This is their best concert sound wise. I have it and many others of their concerts on VHS. The bass and guitar solos they call them doodles I think are insane
Bisscute and Metallica, what a awesome combo!!!!
RIght? Thanks ♥️♥️
The crowd is singing the second half of the Chorus. James: The Horsemen are drawing nearer. On leather steeds they ride. They've come to take your life. Crowd: On through the dead of night. With the 4 Horsemen ride. Or choose you fate and die!
One of my favorite Metallica songs!
her moving her head and pouting is so cute 😊
You haven’t reacted to Seattle 1989 yet, it’s arguably their best concert from the 80s era. I suggest either Fade to Black or For whom the bell tolls.
Great song!
The studio version should be listened first
Please do reaction from the same song but live in 1983
My fav vocals from james
Just so FUCKING UNDERRATED
Agreed
Why?
@@Pabloattack It's how every song should be listened for the first time. Just few songs have a live version better than studio version like Domination - Pantera. The Four Horsemen it's amazing in live but the studio version is better.
@@jamelaoinhegas2873 agreed…also Pantera’s Primal Concrete Sledge live at Ozzfest is 100% heavier than the album version. Vinnies drums knock my socks of on that one
*There's many things that separate Metallica from other bands that makes them the best in my opinion. They've been together for 41 years, 2 of the original members (James and Lars) are still there. Kirk has been with the band 39 of those 41 years and Robert being the "newest" member has been with them almost 20 years. They're the only band to play on all 7 Continents, they've won 9 Grammy's, "Master of Puppets" is in the Library of Congress, and Elton John called "Nothing Else Matters" one of the best songs ever written while saying Metallica was one of the best bands ever,.. hell of a compliment right there. One minute you're banging your head to one of their songs and the next you can rock your baby to sleep. They're untouchable.. They're Metallica!* 🤘🤘🤘
Amazing Lars, I love this concert...Amazing energy
i love that lars had 2 drum sets on stage for this show and gets up mid song to run to the other kit!!
So I was remembering right, that he had two kits set up for those shows!
Seeing him do that in the video, my brain was saying that he just ran a lap around stage back to a single kit, but that pulled a memory from years back of those shows having two.
@@marka4891 remember Lars and James having a drum off during the show too
@@rayrussell7182 Oh yeah! I do remember that.
You must react to Battery live in Seattle 89, that performance Will blow your mind
You reacted to San Diego 92! Thank you 🙏
I absolutely love your reactions to Metallica, a metal headbanger has been born
Saya menyukainya. 💟💌🧡❤💜💙💛💚💘💝💖💗❣💞💕💓
Mechanix 😉 Both are great versions !
Mustaine wrote both ;)
@@Nightwalk444 Dave told me he wrote every Metallica song and he said Lars smells I was like mate I only came in here to use the toilet
@@robbluke3654 classic Dave ngl
"There are two ways you can hear this next song. There's our way and then there's their way. For those of you who think this is their way this song is called Mechanix!" - Dave Mustaine
Here we have a trve guy in 2022
Cheers from Colombia
I'm so glad that you reacted to this song because it's one of the songs that Dave Mustaine contributed to the band before he formed Megadeth. I suggest to Metallica's song "The Phantom Lord", which is another song that Dave contributed to the band. If you do, then I recommend reacting to the band's 30th anniversary live performance; because it has Dave as a guest performer in the song.
Thanks, glad you like it ♥️
Crazy to think they wrote this masterpiece when they were just 19-20-21 years old 🤯 still holds up after more than 40 years! Good music is timeless. Also, Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) deserves a lot of credit for his input even though he was not on any albums
You're talking out of your butt dude...its a well known fact that he cowrote the majority of the songs on Metallica's debut album as well as having song credits on their second album. This song is entirely his.
@@goodini026 did you read correctly? I said Mustaine deserves a lot of credit…so what’s your problem?
@@zender1979 you said he was not on any albums. That's just a flat out lie. If he legally has credit on songs then he's on the album
This is the only song on Kill 'Em All for which Dave gets a songwriting credit. I don't think he's mentioned on Ride The Lightning at all.
And Dave did not play in any of the album recording sessions, so he really isn't on the album. At least, not in any meaningful sense. If you're going to count a songwriting credit as equal to playing on the album recording, then every band that has recorded a cover will suddenly double in size!
@@goodini026 you damn well know Kirk played all the parts on the albums, yes Mustaine is rightfully credited like I said in the first place so this whole argument is fkn pointless. You don’t know Dave was kicked out before they started recording Kill ‘em All?
The four horsemen is the best in the era 83 till 89
To me the best version live of this theme, finallyyy someone reacts to my fav Metallica concert!
Awesome reaction I think I could watch you all day!!
Wow, thanks ♥️
Tbh it's not surprising that it's hard to hear the crowd when the band is making so much noise lol. Another great reaction to a another classic performance, but I would recommend also checking out the studio version of this song (even if you don't want to do it as a reaction). There's a whole section of the song missing in the live version, a slow, melodic interlude which features my favourite Metallica guitar solo.
During the Binge & Purge era, San Diego, Mexico City & Seattle each had their own personal editors. They got to pick a city & were given the creative license to impose the concert editing in their own style.
One would prefer to turn the crowd noise up, (Seattle) while another preferred the bands music to be more front and center and turned everything else down.
Someone would choose to keep the visuals strong and steady, the other enhanced the vusuals (San Diego).
San Diego is my personal favorite. 👊🤘
Perfect
You have to see the song called Whiplash in San Diego too! So cool! Salutes from Spain!!!
James live voice is not close to his studio voice, but that can be forgiven somewhat due to the fact he's both playing and singing live
Glitter outfit is exotic.... very nice!!
Thank you ♥️
Legendary! ,,The four horsemen"
from Metallica.Bravo,Bisscute❤️
Seattle 89' is a unique show 👍🤓
Thank you ❤️

They still tour. If they come to your area, I'm hopeful you will get to see them. Always great show....😊
I hope so ♥️
Try-Harvester Of Sorrow-live Moscow. James looks like a Gunslinger in that great performance.
It's been a pleasure...
As said by many, check out Mechanix by Megadeth as that is essentially the song in it's original form.
metallica evolve mechanix to tier god with 4 horseman \o/
@@f4nf4rr40 no they didn't
@@f4nf4rr40 Mechanix is better
@@da9pauly i really can't find mechanix a good song, it's too fast for me, davy's voice doesn't help and i think the solos are pretty boring, but that's just my opinion
Copied off a wiki, but thought you might want to know.
"The Four Horsemen" was originally written by Dave Mustaine in his former band Panic entitled "The Mechanix". The song was one of Metallica's staples during their clubbing days, albeit with no melodic interlude and different lyrics. The original lyrics were roughly about a sexual encounter at a gas station. James Hetfield has gone on to say the lyrics were "silly".
During March of 1983, Lars and James confronted Mustaine about adding a more melodic section. Mustaine claims the middle interlude was inspired by Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama", though it wouldn't be added until after his removal from the band. When the band fired Dave, James took it upon himself to rewrite the lyrics into something more dark. The result is the song we know today as "The Four Horsemen". Referring the Biblical texts about Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse; Time, Famine, Pestilence and Death (though the real four horsemen are Conquest, War, Famine and Death) it details the end of the world.
The original song "The Mechanix" was later released with its original lyrics on Megadeth's debut album Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good as "Mechanix", with a new intro and a much, much faster tempo.
@Joao Santos nothing curious about it Dave basically cowrote all the songs on Metallica's first album. And he has writing credits on parts of the second album. He also stated numerous times in interviews that when he was kicked out, he didn't get a chance to collect all his music from when he was with Metallica and he begged them not to use his music...and when Metallica's debut album dropped he was disheartened, depressed, and pissed off that he heard all his music being played without him.
Hello My friend... reaction the Metallica and seek the destroy in live ...I love You ❤️
since you've branched off into the metal category and seem to like it a lot. you have done some killer bands and songs but one band i have not seen in your list and should be on it is tool just about any song will do but these days im partial to a song called pneuma.
Concert Cunning Stunts 1997.... go for it...
Awesome song by a great band! 🤘🔥🔥🤘

As you can see..maybe you don't know..there is two set drums on the stage .while Lars Ulrich stop, and he ran accross..on the bridge.. between the crowd..that's why the stage call "The Snake Pit"
Next reaction avenged " THIS MAN'S WAR "... THANKYOU MY FRIENDS
In case you didn't know, this song is called The Mechanix!!!!!!
#react Unleash the archers- awakening
Pierce The Veil - king for a day. Very 🔥🔥🔥
I've never seen Metallica live. I was late to them. Metal, in general, really. But I'm catching up. Through time. The Horsemen of The Apocalypse are a terrifying rabbit hole. The TV show Supernatural portrayed them well, in my opinion.
You should check out some of the live stuff from 1983. Then you will see them very young :)
That song is great, the studio version is very different and Lars is the man!!!!!
You should listen to Seek & Destroy from San Diego 1992
Maybe someday ❤️
Their last Hurrah . After his voice matured & it lost that youthful powerful tone, they cuut there hhair & went commercial going for a more trendy path. So to me, Just Imo, I can gauge wether I wanna watch a video on weather they have long hair or short lol
Try "The four horsemen" live in Quebec
Bissy, always listen to studio version before live performances. In my opinion 😤
well If i do that I can t react to the live version
@@BisscuteReacts I didn’t think of that 🤣
I love/hate/am inspired by/am indifferent to Lars. So there! I win! 🤪
It makes me feel oooooold hearing you talk about how young they look. For the first 3 albums they never made videos live or otherwise then starting with album 4 they did. This was during album 5 when they started releasing live videos and music videos regularly. So for me this was when I finally saw what they looked like so this is my baseline mental view of them when I hear Metallica.
I even have a poster of them from this time that's just their faces on a black background with METALLICA in Silver above them. It's the only old band poster from my early teen years I never got rid of (in hindsight I wish I kept them all. Especially my collection of Iron Maiden posters). This is just my personal favorite era of the band. From Seattle in 89 - Woodstock 94 they were just animals.
It's Dave Mustaine's song
MORE METALLİCA PLEASE
Metallica Disposible Heroes try... Good tempo, and transision.
Try to react to Ghost? it's a great band!😀
Hi bisscute please react to Hellyeah "Thank You" :)
The Original song is by Megadeth! "The Mechanix"
No, Dave made that song after he got kicked out of Metallica, he wanted to repeat what he did then and so he did but made it faster and that’s what you mentioned; “The Mechanix”.
