I love the little story this adventure mode told: Little Lathrix stranding on a resource depleted ocean planet, where the only thing keeping you alive is killing the other inhabitants. The more and more Lathrix killed the better he got at it and the more he began to enjoy it. Then at some point he didn't kill to sustain himself but because he loved it so much. That's the moment when the blood he spilled started talking to him, demanding more and more blood. And more blood he delivered. not realizing or simply not caring that it drove him into insanity. At some point he became the champion of the blood god, painting his ship in the colours of blood. The few good people on the planet amassed their army of titans to end the threat Lathrix has become. But rather than killing him, the titans started to annoy Lathrix. For that insult, he captured a titan. He tortured, crippled, mutilated and corrupted it and finally welded the monstrosity to his ship as a beacon of terror, cruelty and brutality. Legends say Lathrix still roams the vast oceans of that planet, killing everything in sight. Unkilled and unkillable due to the protection of the blood god, as long as Lathrix keeps worshipping him by turning the waters red with blood. Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne! Cookies and Milk for Lathrix!

Something interesting, the mainframes on board the Bloodhound are called Anguish, Agony and Suffering. I find it immensely impressive that even against the Megalodon, the Sovereign, and 3 Titans you still managed to hold your own and even took the Megalodon for yourself from that fight. You're a lot better at this than you give yourself credit for.

Make the whole ship into tubing, and then just see how effectively you can one shot the enemy ships. Test out the different damage types. It would make a good stand alone.

Thank you for the series, thank you for actually making the comment “rising from the depths at or around the 38 min mark. For the next adventure mode I’d like to see you really challenge yourself. Make the rule that you may only have 1 of each type of weapon, 1 cram, 1 adv cannon, 1 laser, 1 particle cannon, and as many defensive tricks as you can make. So i've been following along with this series with my own sorta single player runthrough, each episode you'd release i'd spend about 5-10 hours after watching it building up my craft for inspiration. I've killed countless Titans now that i've gotten the technique of capturing them down to the nail, EMP particle cannons help massively with that. My craft was inspired on your craft, flying explorer but sailing fighter, but I specialised with Crams and PA's, torps if subs were involved. I watched this episode a few hours ago and decided to go hunt me a Megalodon for myself. Sad to say, it ended with my ship being completely obliterated by this things guns. No shields + weapons that're easily counter are a real pain. It was fun following on in your footsteps, but where as your campaign went on a high, I cannot say the same. Hope to see your campaign series soon, as will follow along with you there too ^^
@lathland - if your turrets get stuck against blocks on your ship, you can set the axis on the turret block so it doesn't rotate into blocks and get stuck. very helpful, also resets turrets to center for speedy re-targeting.
Lathrix: *under estimates his craft* His craft: *proceeds to make short work of one of the most powerful ships in the game while being attacked by 4 other godly craft which the ship also destroyed.*
I think that this was the best possible finally. The Megolodon and Sovereign and multiple titans in the same fight. It really shows how good you actually are at building crafts in this game, despite what you say.
I had a lot of fun with this. It was also the first of your From the Depths I saw, so it came as a shock when I went to watch the others and found that it looked more like a strategy game. Looking forwards to the campaign, hoping there will be lots of challenges there other than maybe volume limit. Actually, what would be cool in a campaign would be a volume limit tied to the number of resource zones controlled (for the player, obviously) so that as your empire expanded, you could of course build more absurdly huge doom-behemoths. Again: loved this series. Look forward to another run through adventure mode someday. This was what made me really think about picking up From the Depths because it just looked like the awesome, unholy child of Battleship and Minecraft.
Next adventure mode challenge idea: you can play normal for a short while. After you get enough resources for the first overhaul, you remove any offensive weapons on your main craft and rely wholly on small plane crafts to do your offense for you. Through the series you improve your carrier and the number/performance of the small craft. You could create variants of the small craft or obviously switch the design entirely, which is up to you. I feel it would be an interesting new challenge
