I think the only reason why RDR2 does not have mexico is that it would probably add another 10-20 hours of gameplay on top of the 40+ hours in the main story Since the game is easily over 50 hours long anyway with stranger missions the dream catchers dinosaur bones and the legendary fish and everything it's already way too long and mexico would just add way more it would also increase legendary fish dinosaur bones dream catchers and everything else by at least 10 since and mexico would also add more stranger missions probably more story mission and the game would just bece drawn out and boring
Not a bad assessment, but did you take into consideration that there really was no storyline reason for them to have Mexico accessible in what was essentially a prequel?
If I remember there isn’t actually many missions if any that take place in New Austin during rdr2. But yea I agree with the other guy there wasn’t really a narrative reason to include mexico
