I just found a 1968 D with
a non legible 8 in the 1988.
This coin has not been in circulation since 1973.
I'm stunned
I was surprised to get a 1968d in pocket change, a few days ago, with full bands and in pretty good condition. As l said before, with many people home now, it's a great time to ( put on your gloves) and check you change.

I just found this 1968 D coin. The hair has insane detail only topped by the FULL DETAIL ON THE TORCH. Absolutely clear on the torch bands and stripes. Perhaps worth noting on my 1968 D is the JS on the neck collar has an almost unseeable "J". It certainly is NOT a complete letter J. Im sure its not worth much but its on the market. Thx!

1965 no mint worth a lot of money
I have in collection a 1965, 1967, 1969, 1970, 1975 Roosevelt dimes. ( 1 of each) None of them have mint designation "d" or "p" above the date. I can't determine if they are proof set. What do you think? Any value? I'm new at this coin collecting and still learning.

I love many of the coins but I really cherish dimes in such a way. I believe I probably got nice amount of 68's and much older ones. I love dimes some more but then there's the pretty pennies and gorgeous quarters but I'm sitting on all them.

I love that you mentioned that these types finds can be "Life changing ". You focused more on the aspect of monetary value in terms of changing your life.. but I think it's just as important, if not more important in some cases, to realize that the finding a coin yourself, in your pocket change, can give you a high degree of validation, and HOPE. Hope in the sense that now you have irrefutable evidence that making these types of finds are entirely possible, and with a minimal amount of effort, anyone can make a discovery right in their pocket that could end up saving you from things such as eviction, not affording food, or water, or gas n electric for that month

Question... I have 3 different years with "this issue" a... 16, 89 & a 68 before taking them anywhere. I've been trying to find out if there a distinct way for me to tell as looking through my books it still isn't completely.. clear to me as color seems through an through, whether they're made from penny copper or they're missing clad finnish/ layer. So far I am separated 50 lb of coins into copper pennies and non copper pennies only found two wheat pennies and now I'm about to run my metal detector over the rest of them LOL this is fun yet so time consuming

WOW found 16 rolls of 2018"D" 13 rolls, 2019"P" 3 rolls , I opened 2 rolls 18"D" and 1 of the 19"P" all mint conduction all of the 19's "P" have errors on the chin so nice and the 18's "D" have cracked dies and doubles WoW what a find. let me know if you have found any of them. thanks for your hard work.

I have a 1968 and 2, 1969, proof dimes. The 68 is supposed to have a high relief reverse strike, shows up in the flame of the torch. And 69,70 business strike coins have that it's a variety. The 2 69's, have it, and the 68 doesn't. Does that make the 68, a variety because it doesn't have it? Maybe some body could explain that to us. Good video. Thanks 😎😃

I have a quarter; year 2000, mint Mark P, North Carolina. It is dull in luster and brownish in color on both sides instead of very shiny silver color like all the other state quarters. Is this a coin stamped with the wrong metal?

Great Video !!! I've been finding a lot more Proof coins while Roll hunting. You mentioned before Dealers telling folks to pop them out and spend them, Well they are !!! The last 3 boxes I went through had 4 Proof coins, Sadly they already are showing usage damage. How about a video on " High Brass" cents ? Thanks !!!
It is possible that they were dumped into circulation by a collector as part of the great American coin hunt that happen this year.

About 4 years ago, there was a store in my neighborhood where l got a lot of change. One was a 1968d dime with sharp full bands. There's no marks on it except for a light steak across the neck which is very faint.
