I always thought those silver Daleks with black livery were really snazzy-looking, far more so than the grey plywood design they insisted on using as the default throughout the rest of the show's Classic era colour run.
To be honest, I was more of a mind to agree with Lance Parkin's take on this in AHistory which is along the lines of Death to the Daleks being within living memory of the Second Dalek War, and the Third taking place about 2000 years later (basically one that takes place between Master Plan and Evil, with Terry Nation's aborted Dalek series in between). Then, of course, Nick Briggs came along with Dalek Universe and ballsed it up.
2:02 Aside from the Second Great Dalek Occupation being the conflict from Dalek Empire 1, how many of those Dalek occupations have lore about them or are most just name drop level references (maybe the original occupation is an alternate name for the First Dalek War)? 3:10 Also given the levels of destruction described by the events of Dalek Empire, my answer would be a combination of the Second Great Dalek Occupation and the Enemy/Alliance Dalek War.
I have a boxset called The Dalek War, featuring both Frontier in Space and Planet of The Daleks. Its an older boxset. I figured the 3rd war ended just before Destiny, as that is the next time we see them after Death to. By this point, they seem rather desperate, where as in Death, they are only desperate due to the power drain. I thought it was the Movellans who slowed their effort to a crawl and fractured them with the virus etc. But I havent listened to much audio or read the comics. So, my perspective is limited.
Even though it also had 'outside intervention', the events of the first two Dalek Empire boxsets come to mind as Humanity defeating the Daleks without the Doctor... with said victory only coming about from the introduction of a parallel universe set of Daleks and one of the main characters using a Dalek equivalent of Mass Effect 3's Destroy Ending.
There are three 'numbered' Dalek Wars and after that it gets more difficult to determine what order the wars come in, but there are subsequent conflicts between the Daleks and Humanity, such as the Great Dalek War
So when does the Timelord - dalek war take place -- i thought it was far far in the past --- did the daleks have a branch/all of their civilisation in the past then ?
@@tonyug113 the Time War didn't take place at any specific period in history, it was waged at every point in the past and future all at once, to the extent that by the end of the war time had almost completely unravelled
I love your interpretation of the Dalek wars!!! The designs of daleks are the best on Exxilon.

A new Dalek bumps video on my birthday!
Probably the great Dalek war that happened in the year 4000
Questions:
How different would the universe be if the Time war never happened
What do you think the Time lords would’ve done if they won the war?

Never saw THAT episode.
2:23 "The Dalek Empires was one of many hostile forces that humanity had to contend with"
Whohammer 40K anyone? Or Whoniverse 40k?
Enemy of the Daleks- is that a clip from 'Its a Sin'?
Where did there pic of the cybermen fighting the daleks in space come from?
Next do a history of the remote control daleks please
have humans ever directly defeated daleks without outside intervention ie the doctor
It has happened, but not very often
