Just for the record, Jamie Bell is from Durham, so there's literally no good explanation for how horrible his accent is considering that is his actual honest-to-goodness real life accent, lol.
Shame nobody told him. "Er yeah can you do a second take on that and actually maintain your accent?" But then again they only had a voice acting budget for one actor.
He can jump cars, he did it in the movie! You have to want to jump things with you. In the film, the bad guys end up strapping jumpers to walls to try to restrain them, because if you plug wires into them and then something else, it like "grounds" them so they can't jump without taking that thing with them. In the climax of the film Griffin himself (I think) talks about how someone once tried to escape the evil guys by "jumping" his entire apartment - which he was pinned to by wires by the bad guys - and he just exploded or got torn apart. It's a really good movie and I recommend watching it.
I agree, good movie, just underrated, because of Hayden Christensen being the lead character, because of his "controversial" role in the 2 Star Wars prequels, which I neither care about, or have seen personally. Just not a Star Wars fan myself. But I have seen Jumper, in theaters, and I agree completely, my dude. Good movie, just not a very good game. But I do respect Jamie Bell for coming back to reprise his role in this game. He's not a bad actor, just gets a lot of smaller roles in bigger movies. Like Fant-four-stic, for example. I didn't even know he played Ben Grimm in that movie because Fant-four-stic sucked, and was dull and boring looking. Plus, I didn't even see fant-4-stic. What a waste of Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and especially, Jamie Bell. But more people do need to see Jumper, it gets a lot of crap, mainly because of this game, and the fact that Hayden Christensen stars in it, and just judged the book by it's cover on this one. Not saying it's a perfect movie, but it's a really good one. Although I haven't read the books the movie is based on, or even knew that the movie was even based on a book, because the book came out before I was born.
Funny thing is, they’re proper slagging off Griffin’s voice acting and it’s ACTUALLY Jamie Bell and it’s just pretty much his normal voice (and yes, he’s British)

I genuinely loved the Jumper movie. Remember seeing the reviews for this game and avoiding it entirely. Griffin was an interesting character, even if he was a side character
@@gincairn8763 I didn't even know Jumper was based on a book, because I wasn't even born in 1992. I was born a year later, in 1993. But I also enjoyed the movie, I remember seeing it in theaters when I was 15, and enjoying it. Although Griffin's an interesting character, the last time we see the guy, he's just left behind by the main character, trapped underneath some girders, because he lost a fight, which was a pretty good fight, with the 2 main characters throwing each other through famous landmarks throughout the world. But when Peter and Ben say that the movie's loosely based on the book, how loosely are we talking here? Like, are the main characters switched in the book, does the bad guy win, does the love interest get killed off or something? But you know, sometimes, you just have to take liberties when adapting something, because that makes it more interesting, sometimes. But not always the case. But look at things that don't loosely follow their source material closely. Most of the time, it works. But there's been times when it's been a big failure. I wouldn't say that about Jumper though. Thought i thought it was one of the best movies of the year. Sort of underrated to me. But to be fair, Hayden Christensen does get a bad rep for his role in the 2 Star Wars prequels, for his bland acting. And him starring in ANOTHER movie a year after the 3rd Star Wars prequel, I'm guessing people didn't want to see him potentially "ruin" something again, so maybe that's why it didn't too well? Sorry.

*cracks knuckles and adjusts nerd glasses 🤓* My hot and fresh science facts for Ben and Peter: The jumping ability creates “jump scars” or leftover temporary portals that something or someone can travel through after the “Jumper” created it to travel from one point to another. Pretty much why Griffin can take a car to a helicopter. In the movie, the Jumper hunters, or Paladins, use those same jump scars made by Jumpers to their advantage, using electrified wires and stun batons to hinder their jumping ability and tether them in place for the final kill. If tethered, and a Jumper manages to make a jump, the wires keep the scar open with the Jumper on the other side (point B) while grounded from point A. Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson (Millie in the movie) met while in the making of the movie and eventually married. Jamie Bell played the main character in the “Wake Me Up When September Ends” music video by Green Day, opposite of Evan Rachel Wood, (Dolores Abernathy in WestWorld) Samuel L. Jackson is a badass in the movie.
I’m commenting mainly for the benefit of Al Gore’s rhythm, but I must also say it hurt inside when Peter listed Jamie Bell’s ‘best-known roles’ and left out Billy Elliot. Years ago, yes, but better known than any of the others!

@@gakk8658 I agree. Pretty good movie. Probably the only time Hayden Christmas did a good movie, in my opinion. @@carolfromhr9900 You're definitely right, about Hayden Christensen, probably not his fault, he didn't write or direct Star Wars Episode 2 and 3, he just showed up, did his job, and acted in those movies. It's also most likely NOT his fault for Jumper being called a bad movie either, I saw it, and I really like it. I've heard that the Star Wars prequels have other reasons to be as infamous as they are, anyway. But then again, I haven't seen the other 2 Star Wars prequels, only saw the first one(which I know, he wouldn't play Anakin until the 2nd movie, but I'm only saying I saw the first one, then i just lost interest in the series as whole), in theaters with my Dad a a kid, and was obsessed with the racing game on the n64, and so was my Dad, but I haven't seen Shattered Glass, but the movie sounds familiar, though.
@@shawnfields2369 Perhaps because his character was far more interesting and capable than Hayden's character, who spent virtually every single Paladin encounter pinned to a wall, meanwhile Griffin was jumping cars and buses and pulling off explosive jumping attacks. I will defend Hayden Christiansen. He was awesome in "Shattered Glass", where he plays a real-life reporter who fabricates stories. The trouble is, he got to play Anakin. In two-and-a-bit movies that couldn't manage to make CGI sand seem realistic. Also "Jumper", where he just plays a really unlikeable character. (Honestly that was the biggest problem with the movie. Not a great movie, but not objectionable... just coulda been better. And no ridiculous CGI sand.) But seriously... check out "Shattered Glass". Really great movie.
In the movie the character of Roland is played by Samuel L. Jackson. So even more star wars connectivity. It was pretty close off the back of episode 3. I remember seeing this movie in theaters it wasn't terrible...just forgettable.
At 6:23 "what I did, I filled my jump meter and now I can jump, I can do that". The tutorial screen didn't say anything like that, your meter wasn't even filled up. You can jump through cracked walls (or into breakable walls and doors) just by pushing the R1 trigger, no need to fill the jump meter at all. That's only for a special attack ability (used by pressing the circle button). And that mythological creature, you guys talk about, is a Gryphon (sometimes also called a Hyppogryph), it's a winged animal from the Ancient Greek mythology. It's definitely not Griffin as the guy's name is spelled. Get your facts right next time, please. Anyway it's entertaining to watch your video, I like it.
No, it's a good movie. Not great, but good. Certainly better than the entirety of the star wars prequels, and certainly the best thing Anakin Skywalter has done, acting wise. But not a great movie. But it's alright. Like a 3/5.
@@SanFran51 Yeah, I agree. I saw it in theaters, in 2007; and Anakin Skyward and Jamie Bell; were definitely doing performance theater; when they did this film; that and the soundtrack; and the main bad guy; maybe the main guy and girl; were the only things that I didn't completely despise about the movie. Just the cgi; and yeah, they were the best parts of the movie; but it sucks that those parts got hacked; multiple times; and there were like, 2 or 3 people in the theater; who were confused and not very entertained by the movie. But; despite all of it; I wouldn't have minded a sequel; with the same lead actor and the main girl. Not sure why Griffin decides to act like a whiny baby; the whole time, and that somehow lead to him getting his own terrible movie tie-in game. But I do genuinely like the movie Jumper. But Griffin was the worst part of this game. Griffin was the worst part of his OWN game, and they got Jamie Bell to reprise his role as Griffin from the movie, even though the game isn't a tie-in to the movie itself, it's a side story that was originally a sequel to the movie, but became a side story to it instead.

I literally just saw this at my local Salvation Army. I picked up an Atari Plug and Play instead. If it’s still there next time, I’m buying it.
Update: I did actually buy it. Its pretty good condition all things considered.
Neither of you had seen the film lol? It's not great but come on!
I agree. Not great, but good nonetheless. It's probably the best thing Anakin Skywalter did, acting-wise.
In the movie the character of Roland is played by Samuel L. Jackson. So even more star wars connectivity. It was pretty close off the back of episode 3. I remember seeing this movie in theaters it wasn't terrible...just forgettable.
I borrowed this from blockbuster for a weekend and couldn't get past the first fight. Granted I gave up pretty quickly 😂
You're emulating the PS2 version? The art style looks like it's off the DS!
THANK YOU!!! Almost bought this POS.
HILARIOUS!!! 3JUMP never let's me down. Best $4.50 I never spent.
Al gore? Is that you? Great video ladsorladies terrible game though.
Ey up, mah nems Griffin 🤪
Always great to get the boys on a Sunday night!
I prefer films where the protagonist is named Noodles.
He sounds like a really bad impersonation of Ewan Mcgregor
I really want to see who voiced samuel l jackson in this game now!
I remember renting this game and just being like what the fuck.
Loved the movie when i was younger
On the plus side it was an easy 1000 achievement points (on Xbox 360)
Also, share it in the Art Attack subreddit.
(Wait. Is that an actual thing?)
3:19 Did he say Buick? I always thought the sound would be pronounced with a p at the end. Like "Bee-you-hwhip"
You guys didn't watch Jumper before? I might be wrong because I am recalling it from memory but I thought it was a good movie.
No, it's a good movie. Not great, but good. Certainly better than the entirety of the star wars prequels, and certainly the best thing Anakin Skywalter has done, acting wise. But not a great movie. But it's alright. Like a 3/5.
@@shawnfields2369 Such a shame all the parts that made sense got hacked to death.
I remember playing this game as a kid and I didn't think it was bad, but damn I didn't know it was this bad 😂😂
