New sub here. One of your videos came across my feed as I was searching for condos. I've stayed in Thonglor on two separate occasions, and once in Ekkamai; no one has been able to explain to me where Ekkamai ends and Thonglor begins - but all agree that both are great neighborhoods.

The king will be offering monk robes as part of the end of the Buddhist Lent. 52 barges and 2,399 oarsmen (all Navy's I bet) w/ the main barge, the Golden Swan, being 130 yrs old bulit during King Rama 5 and completed King Rama 6. The procession is 1.28 km long. This pomp and ceremony follows an ancient protocol procedure to the last detail. It's going to be spectacular! Doesn't happen too often. Last time was during King Rama 10's coronation 4 yrs ago.

I don't like the bread in Thailand, but that's because I compare it with the bread in the Netherlands. I guess this isn't something that you didn't knew.

Burcu welcome to UA-cam I would like to ask you a question that no one seems to know the answer I’ve been to Thailand 8 times and 9th coming up in 2 weeks. My question is when you book a grab it always says go to pickup point, which could be 100 meters away. For a foreigner that doesn’t understand landmarks or Thai. Why can’t they come to you, like Uber Uber comes within 5 meters using gps. So you know what I mean. It’s the same as Uber but GRAB states go to pickup point…. Why ???? If you try and advise the driver you often get into a language barrier problem and end up pulling you hair out Look into it and let us all know, it would be a huge help to everyone anticipating coming to Thailand 🙏
Since many places in Bangkok or tourist areas The officials or owners of the places (such as shopping malls, markets, condominiums) have concessions only for registered motorcycle taxis or taxis Therefore, Grab or cars from applications cannot park to pick up passengers in the concession area.
