Cobblers Pool: Motorcycle and Caravan camping in Australia for free , Pet friendly , Avon Valley

So close to Perth this spot is great for all Caravaning, Motorcycle camping and 4WD camping, it is on the banks of the Avon River in Western Australia at a place known as Cobbler's pool only an hour from the city of Perth. In the winter months the river is really flowing, and a Major kayak and boat race is held called the Avon decent. Plus, a bit of trainspotting along the way . I've heard that bobtails hook up for life and get together in late spring, early summer to mate so when you see two, it's a pair. Unfortunately it probably means they're both at risk crossing roads when they're on the move at this time of the year.

Thanks for the info that's interesting, the same as the green ring neck parrot 🦜 around WA ,it's a great spot especially in the cooler months , The other side of the river is Julamar Forrest worth a look as well

Oh yeah, sadly Belle's knee is still mending and the Coaster is still not repaired as we have been waiting for her knee to improve. We are at least heading down to Augusta for a week but not camping this time. @@peterhewitson71

Yes can stop flowing in summer
