Enjoyed your vid. You inspired me to do this ride, which I did two days after watching it. I pushed on to Tenterfield and stayed there overnight. This is a great format to inspire people to ride. All the best with the channel...
Thanks mate. It's a great road hey. I'm going to complete Gunyah road next time I'm down that way. So much to explore around the granite belt, I love it. Thanks for watching. ATB Jason 👍
Excellent video! Well done, good narration, edits, music fills, all of it. Wish I could do that. I have tried to incorporate a GoPro into my long trips but on several occasions, I found the tech so frustrating that I just took it off and stuffed it in a bag. I was focusing more on the shot (i.e. what OTHER people would see) and not on my riding or staying in the moment. Really detracted from the ride as well as my safety. My solution has been to write about each day and try to craft an interesting and descriptive story (think, "Ghost Rider" by Neal Peart). Sadly, no one reads anymore and it seems if it isn't handed up in a 15-20sec YT Short, the effort is more than the interest. That said, I have learned a LOT about riding and camping from the awesome people like yourself who have the skills, time and talent to put these together. Much gratitude!
Thanks mate, that's very much appreciated. I've had numerous problems with GoPro like many people and now use my phone for shots where I'm not riding. It's getting more difficult these days to keep people's attention, which is why shorts have taken off, so editing a video to keep it interesting is increasingly hard. Glad it kept you entertained 😁 ATB Jason 👍
I’m starting my adv adventures soon … you’ve certainly given me some awesome roads to travel down. Our *backyard* is massive and so much to explore on unsealed roads!! Safe travels Jason. You’ve gained another subscriber from me.
We sure do mate. Out here on the east coast its mainly hilly, green and forested which is great but my thing is deserts and the outback, absolutely love it out there. The isolation and inhospitable landscape is just amazing.
Hi Jason. Back on this channel just about to watch the new content. Glad you are back I enjoy your adventures no matter what you do I like it. Cheers John from Gold Coast
Absolutely mate, and the reason for me forgetting the odd item is because of a kit change. I will shortly be doing a video on gear I take and how I pack as I think, with exception to the odd misdemeanour, I've got it nailed now. Thanks for watching. ATB Jason. 👍
Jason definitely been in your position before and hindsight is always a great thing when travelling alone :) Just keep the other camp ground up your sleeve for your next adventure. I usually set a goal but if I don't make it due to whatever reason, I try not to let it worry me too much 😊 I've found that having another like minded person along helps. This gives you the ability to bounce your thoughts and ideas with them and you will find that this reduces the stress quite considerably. Unsure what your thoughts or goals are for your trips, but more than happy to tag along on your next camping trip if you want the company 👍
Too true mate. Paddy's Flat campsite is a destination in itself and I'll definately be planning another ride that way later in the year. Riding with mates is always more fun for sure, being able to share the adventure. Always up for a ride mate, you can find me on Instagram or Facebook 👍
I agree on that going solo is absolute bliss. Trusting your ability, preparation, GPX tracks you've created and having the time to stop to film moments that you know will never happen again in your life is something very special. I can't for my Australian three month adv trip!! Hope to meet like minded folk along the way.
Very glad I stumbled across this vid and your channel. Worthy of many more subs and likes - really enjoyed it. I hear you on the go-pro problems. I have Hero 4's and a 7. I've spent way too much time faffing around with batteries and re-setting cameras. Anyway - very nice vid and I appreciate your style of commentary and video making. Looking forward to the second installment. Cheers
Thanks mate, that's very much appreciated. I've recently bought the new longer lasting GoPro batteries. They are supposed to be more heat tolerant so well see how that goes otherwise it's in the bin 😂 Part two should be out tomorrow all going well. ATB Jason 👍
hey there Jason how are you?...no doubt in your own good time you will explain the change of name , channels etc ...just glad and thankful you will still be producing content and great vids ...glad to be your 2nd sub lol cheers
Cheers mate, all good here 😁 I'll do a future video of the name change in the not too distant future. Thank you for your continued support, much appreciated 🙏
It wasn't an easy decision for sure, having to start from scratch. Bit a little older, a little wiser I hope to make this a bigger and better channel 😁 Thanks for coming across. ATB Jason 👍
Scenic beauty is too much good dear......But I think journey bis too hectic. Coz I m also moto vlogger so I feel it emotions about this type path.....Good keep it up dear.....With lots of love ❤❤
Jason I have a setup to recharge my go pro and uhf batteries at the end of each day's travel from the bike's battery. Current draw is SFA and does the job perfectly.
Yeah, i have something similar, and a spare power bank. They were charging for the next morning. I've actually bought the new GoPro extreme batteries today and they last about twice as long as my existing batteries and the camera doesnt overheat as quickly so i'm hoping there is life in GoPro yet. Thanks for watching. ATB Jason.
Hi Sean, yeah, don't worry it's on my to-do list and coming up shortly as I do need to replace the doorstops as they do start to crack after a while from the pressure. I'll also be doing a video on why I changed channels as a few people have asked. Thanks for watching. ATB Jason 👍
Bring on the new channel mate. Sorry that BB has gone, but great that you are producing content on a new platform. Looking forward to the new adventures. Good luck with it, ride safe.
Hey mate, we love your videos. they are so relaxing authentic. Quick question though, have you ever felt lonely travelling by your self ? I see some of those areas are are pretty isolated too.
Great question and the short answer is no. One of the reasons I enjoy making videos of my trips is that it feels like I'm sharing the moment with like minded people and because of that I never feel lonely 😊 Thank you for watching and I'm so glad you're enjoying the content. ATB Jason 👍
@@TwoTubesADV Thanks for the reply Jason but you can't be video recording all the time. There has to be times you are just by yourself without anyone in the middle of nowhere. How does that feel?
@@lankanventipix5110 You'd be surprised just how much effort goes into filming but the moments when i do get time to myself I find very peaceful and relaxing. Not lonely at all and i enjoy my own company and getting away from it all.

Hi David, it's just plain old Google maps. I download the maps so when there's no reception I still know where I'm going 😁 Thanks for watching. ATB Jason 👍
The DJI cameras are getting a good wrap for moto vlogging. GoPros seem problematic for everyone who uses them, I'm surprised they are such poor quality in some key areas/ features..
Yeah, I've noticed a lot of bikers now using the dji osmo action 3 and the reviews are good, no over heating or glitches. I've had no end of issues with GoPro over the years.
Great video... hope to see more. Question: what frame rate are you using on your camera? Very clear video. Im riding from North America to Patagonia, i hope my videos are sharp and focused like yours
Thats a good question and something i've been experimenting with a lot lately. The first part of the video was 4K60 at 120 shutter speed with a ND 8 filter but as the gopro tends to overheat with the higher FPS i later switched to 4K30 without ND filter and auto shutter speed. Other footage taken with Pixel 7 Pro was 4K60. So it all goes into the editor as a mixed bag but I output as a single file 4K30. Hope this helps. Good luck with your adventure and ride safe. ATB Jason 👍
I did think of doing that but I wanted to cut the umbilical cord altogether. I am planning a video explaining the name change in the near future. Thank you for your continued support, very much appreciated mate 🙏
I dig all the DIY’s and the scenery but I had to turn it off; the music is abhorrent. The only thing worse would be country music or some A borgnines playing didgeridoos. Liven it up a bit. Maybe even Men At Work
