    My biggest gripe with something like an attached pack is that you either have to have a buddy get everything for you, or you have to take off your gear everytime you need access.
    I ran a crye knockoff pack for a while but ended up switching back to a standard backpack for easy access.

      I rig the straps to my kit so that they are able to be disconnected but mainly say on there. Much like the PC pack from Shaw

      Thanks for the comment! I can certainly agree with that opinion on carrier attached packs. I think in general the concept of having it is better than the practicality. Especially if operating solo.
      I think for me I just like the option to attach a pack to my plate carrier and if needed I can always convert it back to a standard pack on the fly. But I'm also an admitted gear nerd, so the nerd in me thinks the packs look cool attached so I rock it attached lol.

      Attached backs are not meant to be accessed by you. You only run tham when you need to move a lot and have buddys. They are buddy packs. You run admin packs for yourself.

    13:08 Spiritus back panel- ive had to revert back to the video 2x. Im at least 20mins invested in the process every time.😂
    To add- you got a good fit there. I can remember my 1st couple PCs, they didnt fit that great. Hell, my 3rd or 4th was a Fero with 20,000 adapters and i could hardly don/doff efficiently. It really does take a crap ton of time and money to get to where you have a professional fitting/looking set-up.
    And you did a good job navigating all that, and with a limited budget. Good job.

    Very good information and general review but I have a specific question, what is the capacity in pounds for this backpack?

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  3 місяці тому

      Thanks for the comment and I'm glad my review was helpful! I personally have not tested the max weight the Battle Pack Elite can hold. I personally don't run no more than 10lbs in the pack (give or take) just to manage overall weight. I'm sure it can carry more, I just haven't max tested the pack as of yet.
      But that may be something I will try to do down the line in a future video! Thanks again!

    Let’s do an update in a few months see how it holds up after some use and abuse. I bought this to use for festivals to go with my vest, only thing that gives me the ick is the Velcro but that can be fixed with some stitching

      I also been running the vest for over a year, it’s been holding up well only complaint from that is I wish the torso is alitttleeee longer because I got a big torso but so far 9.7/10

      Thanks for the comment! I will absolutely be doing a Low Budget Update for the Tacticon Armament Battle Vest Elite and Battle Belt Elite slated for around late August or early to mid September. I try to schedule these update videos close to or around the year mark to the date of when I initially debuted the original Low Budget Loadout video.
      I know it seems like a long way off but I do have some fun videos lined up featuring some real steel, a new Low Budget Loadout feature, a Gucci Gear battle belt build and showcase and some other Tactical DIY and Tactical Training videos scheduled for the immediate future.
      Hopefully those videos will keep you entertained for the next few weeks leading up to the Update video for the Tacticon Armament gear.
      I do definitely agree with your criticisms of the gear as I do share similar criticisms. I also agree with your overall rating of the gear. It's definitely a 9.5 for sure on the "budget gear" rating but the true test will be when compared to the Agilite K-19 which will also be a video I will be featuring in the near future!
      Thanks for the support!

  • @wyseguy77

    Not bad. I have both the K19 and AMAP III and love them both but that price does hurt. That said i think i may pick up this set as a backup. Great review my only gripe would be it would've been nice to show how it attaches to a different carrier. Keep up the good work man, it's nice to see someone showing gear for those who can't afford the big names, or just don't need the real battle tested gear.

      Thanks for the comment and positive critique! The channel is a regular work in progress and I am still ironing out the beginner speed bumps that I feel all new and growing channels struggle with. Especially in my case attempting to churn out a minimum of 1 video a week to offer a bit of consistency to my channel.
      I am actually looking to do the same but on the flip side. Now that I have the Tacticon version, the next step is to eventually go Gucci and get the Agilite K-19 and AMAP 3 and like you run my Tacticon set-up for training/ back-up.
      That's a great idea, I will certainly look into possibly doing a video showing how the Tacticon Battle Pack can be attached to other carriers in the future. I will very likely circle back at a later point to do a follow up review or feature it in a comparison video so this certainly won't be the last time you will see it featured in some way or fashion.
      Thanks again!

    My one concern is about how the straps are attached to the bag itself. Essentially just a little fabric tab that can easily pop out it seems. I just got this pack myself and it already popped off in my hand. So that may be a concern I suppose.

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  7 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for the comment! I agree that the fabric tab inserts for the shoulder straps don't really seem like a highly reinforced method to attach the backpack straps.
      I can only assume they figured most would buy the Battle Pack for assembly to the Battle Vest Elite Plate carrier so didn't really want to put much material/ money into the pack straps that a majority of people will likely not use.
      With that assumption aside plastic quick clips or hook and loop Velcro could have been an easy go to instead of the fabric tabs.

    • @elliotwright5561
      @elliotwright5561 6 місяців тому +1

      @@TacticalNewbie101 I actually figured it out. I have these screw on wire holder things that I was able to secure to both the fabric and the plastic loop that it goes into so that should remedy that problem.
      Yeah that makes sense though. Still it would’ve been nice if they had a button thing for it to wrap over the plastic so it’d secure it better. Oh well. Maybe when they come out with a different version. Either way I added a pouch, water bottle holder, and a couple of straps so in case I wanted to carry a machete or ax or hammer or something.

      Some of the pouches and placards on the plate carrier were added before this video on my Budget Build and Low Budget Loadout videos for the Tacticon Armament Battle Vest Elite. Feel free to take a look at those videos if curious
      My Low Budget Loadout video will give you a price breakdown of every component on the plate carrier. Most of the items I bought off of Amazon so it shouldn't be hard to locate if you want to get them yourself

    Do those straps come off when you don’t want them to? Do you think they will hold up? It just looks like they’d slip off with a good load. Also is the helmet bag removable?bag

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  7 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for the comment! The straps are pretty secure once attached. I haven't had an issue yet with them coming loose or off.
      I do manage my load though. I try not to load too much of anything too heavy. I use the battle pack to essentially hold items I wouldn't necessarily use in every instance but are nice to have when you do need it..
      If I were going to pack anything heavy I would likely just remove the pack and retrofit it back to a normal backpack.
      The helmet bag is indeed fully removable. Thanks again for the comment and regular support!

    Would you say the bag and plate carrier are good for every day duty use? As in is the material/seams durable or flimsy? I have been thinking about getting this bag and plate carrier

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  9 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for the comment! I honestly think this plate carrier can definitely hold up for everyday duty use. The material is not flimsy at all and many subscribers who have served or who own the Agilite K-19 Plate Carrier and Amp 3 Battle Pack along with the Tacticon clones of each say they are almost exactly similar in quality.
      Take a look at my Low Budget Loadout for the Tacticon Battle Vest Elite to get a more in depth overview of the quality of the PC.
      Hope this helps!

    So I purchased the redemption tactical coyote brown crusader and unfortunately they do not have a back pack that is coyote brown for this color scheme. Will this attach to the crusader? Is there one that you recommend to attach to the crusader?

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  8 місяців тому

      Thanks for the comment! Yea that does kinda suck that Redemption Tactical does not make a Coyote Brown version of their Flatpack. I know that Taction Armament's battle pack does come with a hook and loop attachable MOLLE section for their bag but I think it's primarily used to work in conjunction to reinforce the hold onto their plate carrier.
      My biggest concern is that I don't think the shoulder attachment points on the Tacticon Battle Pack will be compatible with the shoulder straps on the Redemption Tactical plate carrier
      I would recommend the KRYDEX Flat Pack though for sure and am fairly certain it will be compatible with the Redemption Tactical PC.
      The KRYDEX pack is a clone/ knock off of the Hailey Strategic flat pack plus and has MOLLE attachment available for direct attachment to any back panel that is MOLLE compatible
      Here is the link
      amzn.to/3SVMA8D
      They do have it in Coyote Brown and I will be featuring a Tactical Review video on it in the next week or 2. I hope this helps. I have featured the pack in my KRYDEX plate carrier (black) Budget Build and Low Budget Loadout if you want to take a look and at least get a general idea of the bags dimensions.

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  9 місяців тому

      Your not wrong at all! It is for all intensive purposes a "clone" or "knock off" of the Agilite K-19 Plate Carrier and Amap 3 Battle Pack.
      Just depends on who you talk to. I favor more of the side of it being a "clone" but some will outright call it a "knock off".

      Thanks for the comment! Hahahahaha! Yea, I will be the first to always crack on myself for how I regularly I butcher words, use them in the wrong context or excessively repeat a specific word to death in my audio commentary.
      All the audio I record on the fly without a script and it is fairly obvious with all the flubs, goofs and repeated words. I really should write a script or cliff notes to help hahahaha, that or just get better at speaking in general lol.
      Content creation is definitely a full time job and I still have a lot to work on as the channel grows. Using words correctly and talking is definitely on my list of things to improve on hahahah.
