gel nails at home: no UV lamp needed! 💅🏼 sally hansen miracle gel polish

hi there! i’m finally trying out the sally hansen miracle gel nail polish color and top coat set. I chose to do black because i wanted black nails for my trip to asia! hahaha 🖤
i’m very much satisfied with the results, they came out looking so shiny and classy. after one and a half weeks, my nails started to chip more at the tips, but like i was aggressively packing and unpacking and moving luggage/bags around daily 😅 however, i also want to add that i wasn’t doing dishwashing at this time, so that definitely helped prolong the wear time as well.
i would recommend to anyone who loves to do their nails at home but doesn’t want to use or have a UV lamp!

@@a_ainIove I have loved all the colors but I think it’s really more because of their formula, it’s one of the brands I find most consistent from one color to the next. And I do believe that it’s the closest to looking like gel polish than any other brands who’ve come out with lines claiming to be gel-like nail lacquers. And it wears really well too, one of my longest lasting polishes. I really cannot say enough good things about it. If I had to think of one drawback, that would be that I find it can get thick, but a drop or two of thinner takes care of that well. So that doesn’t even really bother me too much.
My favorite color is Wine Stock, followed by Midnight Mod with Slate-R Girl together. If you wear them together, like choosing one to be an accent nail color like I have, you can hardly tell that there is a different color on that accent nail! They’re the same type of saturated richness and really compliment each other nicely.
