Except they pop off easier if you use peel off base coat ;.; which really sucks if you don't notice that you lost a nail coating so you can't reapply it ;.;
This is mainly an issue if you have really thin nails with a weak c-curve that flex/flatten too much when you do some manual labour or put too much weight on your fingers in any way making the top deform from it.

Kayla Buckner These polishes are specially formulated to be peel off. If you try this with any polish, gel, fake or regular, it will not work.

So true! I've found you can be amazing (insert whatever job/skill) but that doesn't necessarily mean you're a good teacher. Suzie's a great teacher! I on the other hand do wonderful at my job but I'm not good at teaching it.
If every teacher in the world only had one pupil at a time that really cared to learn the material being taught, it would be much easier... but, alas, we don't.

I just love that Suzie has her own nails beautifully manicured and polished. I used to hate getting my nails done by a tech who had raggedy nails. I know it's a lil weird, but it's a pet peeve of mine.
It makes sense because the way they take care of their nails can show how they might take care of yours

I have to say I'm the raggedy nails nail tech 😂 used to be. Now I take the time out of my schedule to do my nails. I know other techs that neglect their nails, mostly so they can take care of clients
Those are hard working nails which is a good thing. Can't really blame them for that though. It's difficult for them to work with fancy nails. Their nails probably get jacked up because of working with so many files and drills. I wouldn't do my nails either if I was a nail tech. The work should speak for itself.
My nail tech always keeps her nails short but they're in good shape. She's hard on her hands and is constantly showing clients what polishes look like on her own nails so with all the remover, chemicals and such, it's not surprising she doesn't wear polish. Her toes, however, are always impeccable!

Well, that's one cute golden-doodle or labradoodle! It's very hard to tell a golden retriever cross from a golden labrador cross. I adore labs and standard poodles. They are some of the best, most intelligent dogs I've ever known, except for the border collie cow dogs my Dad had when I was a kid.
Sadly, working cattle dogs aren't great family pets, generally speaking. They are a bit too handy with their herding and nipping. One time my younger cousins were over and one of the border collies herded all the little kids into a corner of the yard and wouldn't let them out! He truly thought he was keeping them safe, and he didn't break any skin, he just pinched a few kids to keep them where he thought they would be safe, in the corner of the yard.

I would love to see a 10 day wear test! This product would be a true miracle if you got even close to 10 days out of it, while actually showering, washing your hands and doing normal life stuff.
I have had my gel nails on for nearly 5 weeks and they haven’t budged they haven’t cracked 😭
I normally wear my gel polish for 3 weeks. No cracking or peeling. I remove because of growth. Try using a dehydrator if yours doesn't last. Some people's nail beds are oilier than others. Good luck.
Good point. If this comes off after soaking in warm water for 10 minutes, wouldn't it also come off after a 10+ minute shower?
@@hello_its_me3235 MINE LASTED 2 MONTHS IDK WHAT THEY DID TO THEM. I heard they continue curing in the sun, so the longer you have them the harder they come off. And I'm an highschool athlete so I'm constantly in the sun for hours.

I had the opposite experience. I couldn’t get mine off. I tried to remove it correctly but it wouldn’t budge. I ended up gently filling my nails until it was gone then letting my nail bed grow all the way off.

Every time Ives ever had gel they use a drill on top of my nails. I already have very thin nails. I didn’t know until now that you didn’t have to use an actual file. I never get them done because they hurt so bad afterwards 😔
Did you have gel POLISH or hard gels done? I never, EVER use an e-file to buff the shine off of gel polish before removal. I always hand file the shine off and my clients have never had a problem with me over filing them.
If you get gel polish again, you have the right to request that they do NOT use an e-file. If they refuse, get up and leave.
Definitely worth saying something- I’m a nail tech and I’ve been working on techniques to be able to efile without damage (I do two layers of base coat and never file through that when removing the color) but that has taken me a few years to figure out. I have clients that request no efiling and it only lengthens the appointment by 10-15 minutes. I would call ahead and find out if they would be willing to accommodate your request because any reasonable tech should have no problem
TELL THEM NOT TO! My natural nails are thin, too. A LIGHT manual buffing is all you need.
Omg. If its gel POLISH you tell them NO. Then nails should be wrapped with acetone and then BUFFED not scraped or filed.
Hi, Megeliwag! It might be a good idea to let your nail tech know that you'd like to change that part of your gel manicure up when you call her to book your next fill, as manual buffing can add an extra 15-20' to the normal worktime. That way, she can budget her appointment time to provide a painless, timely service to you.
Many nail techs know exactly how much time they normally need for each of the regular clients, and are booked up with back-to-back mail services. Usually, there is only time to clean and sanitize the workstation and implements between clients. So if you wait until you are attending your appointment to ask her to do the buffing manually, she may have to rush thru ur service in order to complete the work in the time normally allotted without manual buffing.

After watching this video, I ordered the kit from Koko & Claire. They neglected to include to soak-peel off base. When I asked where it was, they said I hadn’t ordered it (I had proof that I had), and said they could send a bottle with an additional paid order (which would not have had paid shipping for the bottle alone). I had to complain & eventually received what I ordered. HOWEVER, I did experience the gel not drying with the UV light provided. Thank goodness I had my own-and more powerful-light. The peel off base is the only thing I’d recommend. I love Susie, but Koko & Claire gets a thumbs down for customer service for me.
Watching Suzies videos helped me pass my nail tech course and I have my degree now so thank you ❤️😊😊😊

Not meaning anything critical. I noticed a dark spot on your daughters nail that you were putting base coat on. If that was just dirt or something under the nail that is okay. If not get it checked at a dermatologist. Just was concerned.

The title of this video is misleading. It makes you think there's some magical way of removing any nail polish with water. Nope. This is just a very long ad for one company's products. Not that it isn't a well-made video. But why weren't the two company owners shown? I really like the daughter - very down to earth feeling from her. And why wasn't there an acknowledgment at the end that some of the product either stuck to or stained the nails. Where was the info on how to get rid of that?

I’ve always just used a regular peel off base coat, but this is an interesting system of it lasts that long before it starts to peel!
