I love the way you teach. Your student is fun to watch too because I can see him make adjustments as you instruct and it helps me see what I can do to make the pose even deeper.
Debbie, thanks for watching with such discernment. We can all learn so much from one another. Pleased you are able to learn and study what makes sense to you and your body. Enjoy your practice! 🙏🏻
If you want to learn the basics of Iyengar Yoga, this is the 18-lesson course I've created for beginners, seasoned practitioners to go back to the basics, and teachers to get inspirations. app.namastream.com/desa-yogi/product/41092/about
I really enjoy the Iyengar instruction and demonstrations. My only wish is that there be examples of all aspects of modifications, not just the blanket for tight hamstrings, but for limited shoulder openness, tighter back. How do you safely start in a less advanced way in order to progress. (In almost everyone's beginner videos the demonstrator is moderate to advanced and it's hard to know what a tight and weak beginner should do.).
Hi there, I understand your point. In a live class this is easier to approach with many solutions as I see what is needed and ask the student to do a different way that supports them and their body conditions. I am just posting a tight shoulders/ chest openers class by Juan Carlos this coming Tuesday, it would be perfect for you. It’s super assessable and easy to follow with many variations. Please check it out. In future classes for beginners, I will make sure to be aware of where I can show more options. Thanks for your feedback. 😊🙏🏻
@@DesaYogiIyengarYoga Thanks so much for reading and responding! I would love your channel to grow more. Iyengar is such a good way for beginners. I just don't see many beginners videos out there that aren't either prolonged, overly instructed, too long videos not suitable for beginners, or great beginners sequences but with little demo of what's it's really gonna look like for a true beginner (because the model is too advanced) and not enough modification instruction. I guess this is just a general frustration with channels that could be so good for growing a following with beginners who don't take to Adrienne. Namaste.
