Every class is necessary to have 1 one barrel shotgun 1 two barrel shotgun 1 some sort of railgun A melee Grenades Some sort of explosion weapon And their primary Ahh, just like in real life war
Fun fact! The classic sniper rifle is the G36K. And the reason why it is in the sniper class is because they didn't think of a sniper model even though they could have used a crossbow. Or they wanted to make the Automatic-Semi Automatic modes.
My thoughts on the classes: 1) scout: pretty much only useful for Intel running, garbage weapons and HP 2) soldier: good generalist class 3) Demo: good generalist class too, fits the same design of TF2 where he gets more explosive firepower as soldier but at the cost of durability 4) Pyro: Joke class that only serves to cause 10 sec of chaos after a suicide ambush 5) heavy: crazy durable with insane damage, plays similar to TF2 heavy but is more powerful since mobility is less important 6) Engie: idk how powerful the sentry it can't be moved and he's so squishy. Seems like a gimmick class. 7) medic: basically the TF2 scout. Low durability but good mobility and single target damage output. Actually can live up to the combat aspect of his name. 8) Sniper: no idea how much damage his charged shot can actually do but just seems very unfun considering how janky Goldsrc hitboxes are. 9) Spy: one of the coolest gimmick classes in the game. Going heavy or demo is probably more effective for your team but damn you'd feel awesome feigning death and getting a nasty killstreak

I like medic in this game way more than TF2, the class is literally called "battle medic" if you play battle medic in TF2 you get shunned and everyone calls the gamer word, which is funny considering the classes original name was battle medic lmao. I would like if TF3 (if it ever comes) was the TFC mercenaries vs TF2 mercenaries. Each team would have their own type of weapons. For ex. The TFC Pyro would have the Napalm Grenades and her Rocket Launcher while the TF2 Pyro could customize the load outs. The TFC mercs have a variety of weapons into one single load outs while the TF2 mercs could customize what type of play style they pick.

i'm pretty sure most people are mentally capable of processing the fact that they have more than 2 backup weapons. in this day and age, it was standard for FPS heroes to carry a veritable arsenal of weapons everywhere they go.

Both Pyros have average stats but a horrible effective damage range and sub-par mobility (relative to their respective teams). Afterburn is a pathetic little gimmick that is vastly overstated by Valve as being more potent than it actually is And this is coming from a Pyro main
Valve bought TF classic and made TF2 out of it, this entire thing wasn't their making. They made tf2, by their own standards, which is why it is much different, even though the classes are related.
I really think TF2 should add more of the classic weapons to more classes like the Engi's Railgun and Spy's Tranquilizer. The Pyro already has the Flaregun and their derivatives so no need for the Inferno Launcher. The Heavy's Assault Cannon (Maybe "Baboon Father's Assault Cannon") would be neat; faster spinup, shares ammo with your shotguns, but can't be manually spun up. The Super Nailgun for the Medic would be a cool reskin but would require new animations for a reload.
