Great to see the behind the scenes of how you made your dash! My next big project on my car is the interior, dash, and audio set up. Might be reaching out for some tips
No probs, I'd be happy to help, the main things I have learnt over the years of building dashes and audio setups, is to make sure it is maintainable. The one now is awesome, a few screws and it all comes out to get to the wiring behind.
Good looking work mate. How do the speakers sound mounted there? I was looking at doing custom door cards with speakers built in to fit around the cage for my K swap Clubman.
G'day Dre, I really like them up there, and I have had it before with a bigger system as well. You would be able to time align them from the doors to sound good too but when I was trialing them before I liked the tweeters up higher as it was drowned out by the sound of the mini when mounted down low.
Hey mate. Love the dash. You have done a fantastic job. Looking at putting a digital dash in my 71 leyland. Do you have to program the dash once wired in?
Thanks for the comment. You don't really need to program it (no coding) but you do need to set the correct inputs, set the values for 0v and 5v readings etc. it has a GUI for all of that. Once it's all done you can start to.build what it looks like it or use the pre installed templates.
