Little peek at your red painted transmission housing! Looks awesome!
Also love the shots inside the wheel well of the suspension in action 👀

yeah, I did the block, head and transmission all together. It is in a 2k red and has held up pretty well so far.

Love the shots under the guard while you're driving, that's awesome

Thanks @chux007 - I though tit would be cool to see for people that don't know how awesome a Classic Mini suspension is :) I had one part when the tyre knocked the camera turning right so that was a bit of a moment haha

@@MyModdedMini haha that would have sounded expensive! I went over a speedhump in my clubman once and the wheel scrubbed on the connector for the heater intake hose, sent it flying and made a horrible noise. Fixed now though :)

I saw the POV move on my livestream to phone so pulled up and fixed it (and then took it easy on right handers for a bit). Yeah there is a surprising amount of travel in the front, need to keep everything tucked up.

It is important to point out that when adjusting the rear for each milimiter that you change in the trumpet you are changing 5 in the height of the car, and 1:3 at the front. Also, wheel alignment changes noticeably if yoy adjust the front heigth

Yeah for sure 👍 I've done it a few times using the ratio and found it hard to get an accurate measurements under the car so now I get it close and then set, check, set, check, set....maybe I might make a "go, no-go" gauge, next project idea 💡

Great video, I’m also on the Peninsula, can you please tell me where you got your front tow hooks from and did they just bolt on without drilling, thanks.

Thanks mate..let me know if you see me cruising around. As for the tow hooks, I made them, no drilling required 👍 I'll do a video up of how I made them.

I have had that too mate, (better than having them seized on in my opinion) my fix is winding the adjusters out so that it can't drop too much when you take the weight off. I also make sure its all aligned when I lower it down and then rock it to settle it in. I know a guy that makes the rods with springs in them so that it always has a bit of tension when the weight it off. Might have to have a better look next time I see one.

Just check the rod length. This was happening on my project and turns out the rod was the incorrect one for the hi-lo so was about 40mm too short. Correct matching rods and problem solved.
