Your lure had too much extra terminal tackle. The bead and snap swivel will reduce effectiveness significantly. Tie either direction or just first swivel alone with spoon tied direct to line from their. No snap swivel on the soft plastic, just a direct loop knot. Unless big baits were being attacked a lot in the water I would think a much smaller profit soft plastic.
