I don't care what the masses say, I like the Patriot.. I have my 2012 Jeep Patriot and I've been thinking of trading it in for a 2017 High Altitude Fully Loaded model..
This video is insanely misleading. The high altitude package does not included upgraded head unit and subwoofer. That is a separate package on all jeep patriots. The head unit is standard in all 2016 patriots due to government backup camera mandate. The subwoofer is not no matter the year.
whats baffling me is that my 2017 doesnt have a backup camera or that radio, its the standard crappy radio. Thought they made backup cameras mandatory but guessing mine was made prior to that.
@@cjspooner4603 yes, they rebadged unsold 15’s and 16’s as a 17 model year to try and boost sales. (Most 16’s do have backup cameras unless it was a rebadged 15 to a 16 then a 17, which does happen)
@@ElantraFukkenGang according to google, the backup cam mandate didn’t take effect until 2018. So that explains why mine don’t have it apparently. The law was initially passed in 2014, but the feds had to give factories time to adjust their processes to accommodate the change.

I had an 2010 Limited. Drove really nice. Not particularly good on gas but has a small turning radius. Goooood stereo.
I'm picking up a super clean 2011 Patriot today or tomorrow. I'm excited

Just bought 2016 Patriot 60,000 cut transmission. Had it a month. Made I payment and the trans went . Under warranty. Stay away from cvt transmission
