I just got my Patriot 2015 High Altitude with just 26500 miles and I'm loving it. Two years ago I was renting a Patriot for a trip to Florida and I fall in love :) Because off trouble with my old car, I was in need of a new car. Thank's to God I've got even more then I was hoping for...Black with black leather seats,navigation,sunroof,back-up-camera......and more...:) I was reading so many bad reviews about the Patriot, that it took for a moment my joy away! But after a lo off research and my one week driving it two years ago I went for.Nothing is perfect you just have to make up your mind.Go by what you like. Thanks for the Great Review.
This is truly a remarkable vehicle to drive to date. Only have my Jeep Patriot for only two days but I like the way it handle on highways and city streets. Get you a Jeep Patriot it. Is affordable.
I enjoy my Patriol especially at winter time, I have the automatic start and save time. It good on the freeway, this car does what I want it to do and that's what I want.
I have one with over 17,000 miles. Overall, I really like it. No problems so far. I'd recommend it. I've learned that they plan to come out with a new model in a couple years but will ditch either the Patriot or Compass name. Please keep the Patriot name!
Been driving a 16' patriot while my other car was in the shop I liked it so much I bought one. I hear the replacement won't have the signature front end look so that is another reason why I like it so much.
jjs777fzr my 2016 Jeep Patriot has the park view camera. There are many different features that are added to the Jeep Patriot depending on the funds you are willing to spend.
I have jeep patriot it’s the best car I think for off road one day on week i go to the mountain to off roading Ho have the jeep patriot they should be love that car
Just rub some lithium grease on the seals and they won't leak anymore. Also make sure the drainage holes at the front of the sunroof trim inside the vehicle are not plugged. The drainage holes are there to prevent leakage into the interior light and all vehicles equipped with factory sunroofs have a drainage feature of some sort, so routine maintenance will prevent leakage. I have a 2016 and before I applied the lithium grease I would get some water leaking into the drainage tray, but if my drainage holes were blocked then the water would have ended up in my interior light.
I drive a 2016. Went to this from a Subaru. It uses a bit more fuel but I sit higher and it rides smoother. Love my Patriot. I’ve installed a CB radio and antenna. Practical, reliable, and safe so far.
I just bought one and don't like it. It's very difficult to see out the back window, the sides of the front window, and the visibility on the sides is bad. I tried to return it after a week, and I wasn't allowed to :( Accident waiting to happen.
+Teresa S Didn't you test drive one? Weren't you looking out the windows at the time? Since when can you return a perfectly good car a week later? It's not like you bought a pair of pants. Good grief. Get some common sense. I own one and it's just fine! Take some time to get used to it.
Yes, I did test drive, but it was only for about 10 minutes with the salesman in the car talking nonstop. Seemed nice at the time. I was concentrating more on shifting and watching traffic all around me. You must be a salesman lol
Wow, if you can't see out of the Patriot what will you do with all the jelly bean style new suv's?..They have much worse visibility due to the sloping roof lines. The Patriot has large traditional squared off windows which makes the visibility much much better then newer suv's and I've test driven most of them before buying my Patriot. I also have a Wrangler so you could say I like traditional styled vehicles.

Thank you for your review. I bought this jeep, and I wish it had a telescopic steering wheel too. I have short arms too.

Something fell off when you slide the side glove box! Is it a part of the car?
does yours make an electric toy car noise
Its 2016 and the 2017's are out and still no standard park view camera? Wonder what happened I thought it was going to be mandatory.

Hope to get one next year if they aren't discontinued by then
+lcar4000 Well, there is 2016 model, but nothing changed from 2015, but I believe that back up camera is a option now.
