I just recently found your channel. I have to say that not only do I enjoy the content, you are inspiring me. I will turn 65 in a month. I have a Harley and a Suzuki vstrom. I had a klr 650 some years back. I have done several 2 week camping trips on my Harley, but nothing in the last 5 years or so. I have some back problems that have made me afraid of your type of riding. I have done physical therapy but can’t seem to shake my problem. Watching your adventures have inspired to start over. I have appointment next month to try and figure out what can be done to shake my fear off. I have discussed with my wife that if I can get improvement, that I may buy another bike such as what you ride, because of the weight savings over my current rides. Thanks again for the inspiration.
Try a channel called "My Senior Moments" if you want more inspiration from another cool "advanced" rider that has some serious physical challenges but "keeps on keepin' on" J.R.'s a true inspiration for us all...
Such a privilege to watch your videos JR and enjoy all the beauty you capture. Always a joy hearing you comment on your journey. The ''blue hair'' bit what hilarious. 🤣 👍
That transition from NM to OK, or vice versa is pretty distinct. It’s almost like sneaking through OK’s back door. NM is a real eye-opener heading west, a gateway to the fun stuff. Another good vid. Thanks, JR.
Enjoying this. Excited to see how it ends. I live in Wa and my brother lives in West Virginia. Hmmm… this may be a good trip for me to replicate. 😊. ~Grizz
I really enjoy your laid back content and delivery. At 68 yrs young, last thing I need is some hype about riding over my limits, cause I’ll get sucked into the ego vortex. Ha, Ha. Been riding since I was 9, all dirt until my late twenties, then only street until now, just picked up a 1992 DR 650 that needs some TLC. See ya on the road. Thanks again.
Thanks for another great video , good to see you and your Son riding together again ! Tell Mike I said thanks , I just went and took a carabiner off my left saddlebag , sorry he learned the hard way but saved me .
Great to see you back out and rolling with your son. I'm a subscriber but haven't been getting notifications. I'll make sure to search your channel to like and comment.
Thank you JR! I’m loving following along on your adventures! This is the year my son and I are heading out on our adventures and I’m inspired by you and the adventures you have! Keep it up!
Nothing better than riding with your kids making priceless memories. I have two sons that ride and my daughter rides with me and I am looking forward to her getting your license and her own adv bike.
Joe, wasn't sure how to pass this on to you. But.... There is a young guy that gives you a huge shout-out and credits you for keeping him riding after he had a tough crash. His UA-cam channel is "BrandMan Story's" Motorcycle post Crash fear is the name of his video.

So inspired by you! I hope you can get back to Adventure riding and at least improved mobility.

Another good one for the books Joe! There's nothing like riding with your Son. I love riding with mine. You are soooo RICH!!!
Hah hah! You’re so RIGHT!!! Thanks.
As always great narrative good video. I retire in 7 years and already told my wife to expect me to be gone for a year once I retire.
Thank you....Get out there as much as you can between now and then. I am sure you plan to. Sounds harsh, but tomorrow isn't promised to any of us.

Thank you very much!
I laughed at that too ! Especially funny since I'm the same age as J.R.

Thanks so much. I hear not getting “notifications “ from UA-cam is common problem.
Awww the memories.. Great video and I love the blue handlebars...
Thanks Dan, are you in Michigan yet!? Hah hah!
@@jrdepew Speaking of MIchigan, I have
a preview video coming out the 10th. Had a good time there...

Good memories for sure.
The sky over the plains and the mountains in the background look just spectacular!!
True. Was nice to escape the smoky skies earlier in the trip.
Good stuff JR. The bunkhouse at the end was a great find.
Yep. It's right on the TAT.
Great videos!
Glad you like them!
I always look forward to your videos.
Thank you so much! Really is worth the time invested to get feedback like yours.
Coolsville daddio 😊
Cool!
“Lots of blue hairs and a thirty minute wait” 😂😂
Hah!
Looks like great trails, a little technical, but looks like fun!
It was!
You have good camera gear.
It looks like we are on the bike ourselves
Thanks. I’m not a videographer but I’m learning. Two DJI Osmo Action cameras.
@@jrdepew your doing pretty good in my opinion. I’ve been enjoying your videos
Another great video JR. How many miles do you have on your cycle now?
24,000 miles
What Kind of dirt bike seat is that?
It is a Seat Concepts Commuter seat that came on the Bike when I bought it used. Not a dirt bike seat really but is comfortable.
What camera do you use?
DJI Osmo Action

Thank you so much. I am occasionally in touch with @Brandman but haven't seen this new video yet. He is very good rider and videographer.
