Congratulations on this accomplishment, JR. It was an honor to follow along. I really enjoyed this series, and I am looking forward to the next. You are truly an inspiration- Best - -AL
Great job Brother... Love the Father & Son stuff. You had some frustrating things along the way. Good attitude. I love your home. Beautiful. Thanks for the smiles & inspiration. Like I said before. May GOD BLESS YOU EVEN MORE THAN HE ALREADY HAS... GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸
Great video, great series. A bit sad to see this adventure come to an end. I really enjoyed following each episode. Wishing you more awesome adventures this coming season. You have become for me an important source of inspiration for my motorcycle adventures. Thank you Joe! God bless your journeys. 👍
Heartwarming to see a father and son experiencing this together. I rode many a mile with my dad on trails in the Colorado mountains. He is now passed on but a video like this brings back the good memories of me and dad on the trail. Life is short, enjoy it while we can!
Great video. Hopefully I will be riding the MABDR with my brother and a couple friends this summer. Have enjoyed following your channel and your adventures. It's a Blessing to enjoy this beautiful country.
It was a fantastic series. It's great to see you and your son having an adventure. By following your adventure you gave me the idea to ask my son if he was ready to take a motorcycle course and go on an adventure with me. And he accepted. He has started his motorcycle driving course and this summer we will go camping and visit sections of the BDR. You are a very good source of inspiration. I look forward to following your next adventure. Thank you and see you soon.
Thanks for taking us along! Been following you, Brock and Dan…chomping at the bit to do the TAT. Just need to arrange for the time off from work! Been doing smaller trips, planning for the bigger ones! Great job!
What a great series! Enjoyed every minute of it. That may have been me in the background while you were changing your tire in Nashville (the siren in the background...NFD). Now you have friends near Nashville the next time you go through.
Thanks for sharing with us all. Quite the adventure. We have a lot to learn from your calm approach to all your trials and tribulations! Well done and happy trails to you!
Another great video, you was in my neck of the woods in north west Arkansas, was riding my t700 north of oark last weekend, if you get back this way give me a shout and I’ll show you around the National forest, lost of great riding
Good for you and a great end to the series. When you needed a tire, I wonder if you were near Corinth, MS. There is a well-stocked dealership there that took care of me with a tube when I was passing through. While I was there I learned that it was TAT Sam’s home dealership and they had one of his bikes in their informal bike museum that was also filled with other interesting specimens. Was fun to lay eyes on sam’s old XR600 kicker that he used to map much of the TAT. Anyway, next time you need a tire in that area, or anything else, it’s worth the detour.
Such an inspiration! I’m new to ADV riding and had a question regarding your navigation. I noticed you are running a smartphone on your bars. Are you running a map app and importing files or something else? Not sure I want to commit to a Garmin at this point. Thanks for any advice you can offer!
This video was on a portion of the TAT. Not exclusively as my intention was not to do nothing but the TAT. I did the entire Tat in 2019 west bound from Virginia and that is on my channel. The Tat through Arkansas is mostly mild grave forest/farm roads and probably 60% + paved.
Congratulations on this accomplishment, JR. It was an honor to follow along. I really enjoyed this series, and I am looking forward to the next. You are truly an inspiration- Best - -AL
Whow! I’m truly honored with comments like yours.

It was nice following along with you on your travels. Thanks.

Thanks Grizz. I didn’t make it to Plush and beyond. Enjoying watching your run through there.

Was surprised at the empty curvy roads I came across.

I've heard good things of that dealership. Thanks for watching.
I’ll say it again, really enjoyed the series! Godbless!
A series watcher! Thanks so much. Always wonder who is following a series.
Well JR another trip in the bag. Good job. Hope to see you and Brock doing some riding in the future. Any idea’s of a new adventure ?
Thanks so much. Plans in the works include riding with Brock and…..?
Yay! Can’t wait 👍🏼

It is a hard case waterproof android phone (Oukitel, China) used just for nav with Gaia GPS app and imported files.
@@jrdepew Thanks! Can’t wait to see your next adventure.
A lot of pavement on that TAT. What was the approximate breakdown/percentage of that TAT worthy of knobbies?
This video was on a portion of the TAT. Not exclusively as my intention was not to do nothing but the TAT. I did the entire Tat in 2019 west bound from Virginia and that is on my channel. The Tat through Arkansas is mostly mild grave forest/farm roads and probably 60% + paved.
How much weight were you carrying? I’ve been looking at minimalist options for moto camping and thinking about trading my KLR for a DR.
Haven’t weighed it but after years of use I am pretty minimal. Had a one person light tent this trip. My luxury is a chair!
I know this sounds weird but moto tire change on the trail is a talent that one needs to be competent in doing. I’m I right?
Yes. Otherwise small thing becomes much bigger.
