This 575-mile route thoroughly explores the Cascade Mountains beginning in Stevenson, WA and making it to the Canadian border at Night Hawk. Views of the massive volcanic mountains from the dense forest in the southern part of the route are stunning and the open arid pine forests of the central part of the route showcase the diversity of Washington. The route just seems to get better each day as you head north and into the high-mountain areas beyond Lake Chelan.
It takes most people about 5-6 days to complete the route and there are some easy alternate sections to get around difficult stretches. There are many great camp spots along the way for those looking to rough it. The route also works well for those looking to stay in hotels or to do a little of both.

Awesome video. I do have to say, I crack up when I watch these multiple overland vids 😅n UA-cam. You all always make it seem it’s a totally arduous and miserable thing to have to do because of heat or no shower or whatever. Your a lucky dog man. You could be seating in a cubicle!!! Keep on rollin brother!!!’🤟🏻
Cool choice for music
The shot of the Elk was nice. Cool series. I need to hit section 3.
You know it's HOT when the trees look like their sagging & panting for some cooler air. I'd have had to stop every few hours or when I seen a stream deep enough to cool down in. That's not cheating in my book. Your still camping & cooking on the tailgate. Cheating is going to a motel & a restaurant. Couldn't have asked for a better ending to a vid.
Thanks!!
Great drone footage guys!
Great drone footage guys
Nice video. Really like the drone shots too! If you don't mind me asking what type of drone are you flying? I just started to self teach myself how to fly a drone DRC V9... I'm 74 yo. Never too young as they say Lol
I like to hit a KOA every few days when traveling cross country and camping all the way , get a real shower and wash some clothes . I picked up a portable water heater/pump not long ago so now with that and a large privacy tent , showers at camp are now possible as long as I have the water to spare .
I am curious about one thing , I got the Butler map of the WABDR for motorcycles and it has 11 sections , what map do you use ? I live in Washington so I can do it as time is available , my daughter is in nursing school to get her RN and I deal with my granddaughters when she cannot so I can't do it all in one shot anyway .
