Use a small Allen wrench to get behind the top end of the USB hub assembly to push the tabs in...also. I used small wire ties to slip into the tabs to hold them all closed to remove board from hub.
Hello, your video is fantastic and it helped me a lot I just have a concern about my radio always have power and i do need to find the ignition wire on the radio harness to can turn my radio off, does anyone can help me?
I have a 2001 dodge I put the top of that center console in my truck with my middle seat I can’t get the usb to work do I need to buy that to make it work on my truck I’m not able to hook the aux up cause I don’t have the plug I just want to get the usb to work for Apple car play
Or is there an adapter I can buy cause I have a cord that comes off the usb hub it has a male usb minib I’d need a female minib with a usb adapter
Somtimes the length of the cord is the issue. I would try a direct connection to the usb input of the radio to test and see if that works
I have a 2014 Ram 1500 with the 5.0 uconnect radio and have the same media hub in my jump seat console i have recently upgraded my radio with the 8.4 nav unit i was told i didn't need to upgrade the hub since i didn't get the auto play unit i was wondering if i can do this setup and will it be compatible with my new 8.4 nav unit
Good day. When adding the board to the usb hub in the center consul can the usb on the dash also connect and play the music on your phone? Are they connected?
Super helpful video for how to do the installation - thx! Unfortunately, like many others out there after installing in my 2014 RAM with Pioneer DMH-2660NEX head unit - no connectivity, no charging. It continuously cycles: Connect/Disconnect, charge/no charge. I rechecked all connections at the head unit and uram & tried several different USB cables, but the same result.
How did you fix this issue?
That u ram don't work at least not in mine. Because it's the old square USB & it's a long run. Android audio won't work
Question: with the technology we got nobody has figured out a way to tap into the factory mic?!
Anyone know what fuse it is for the center counsel port to fix it
Usb link installed and still no USB with kenwood radio ddx276bt even if plug straight in usb of radio no luck how to fix???

only center console, other usb can be used for charging
