Speaking from an experienced point of view the glitch you had with the big dashboard strip was where you soldered the strip I’ve had that problem in the past aswell
Anyone else havig issues using the "mic" feature on the app? When I try to use that feature, my aftermarket subwoofer stops working, but the subwoofer works with all the other features on the app.
Glad you resolved the issue with it. It looks the absolute bees knees fella. Can I ask what colour wires you tapped into behind the radio control panel. I have the standard orange/blue lights & I'm just wondering which wires you used. (Oh & the car sounds awesome in the background btw). 👍
Thanks, watch the installation video at 9.36 for reference, blue for power and brown for ground but this is a after market part, for the oem ones it’s white and blue strip. This means it will only work if you put your cars ambient lights to sport through idrive only
I have my main controller on the driver side door. This works. Then i have sub controllers for the psssenger side and one sub for both sides back in the car. Only my driver side work. So I reset the main module (i hooked it up to the electric Windows wich has constant 12v even when the car is not in use. So what I did was to Plug out the fuse (nr 23) for my car. And waited 20sec. After this reset of the main module every modules noe work as before again 🙏
I have installed ambient light in my bmw f21 2015 to these wires, but the module of the car thinks something is wrong and shuts it off, I know I can get the power from the cigarette lighter but I want the ambient light to come up with my original interior light, how do I set this up?
Hi, great videos on these lights. I intend to wire into auto lights too, but I wonder if it remembers the colour settings as well as brightness settings from when last used? Thanks.
Hello my friend, thank you for uploading your video. My story is very similar. However my kit doesn’t flickering like yours. Mine longes led strip only goes halfway through. Shame really, because this kit is really nice and the colours are very rich which I’m loving it. However it’s not working properly. I have disconnect everything wait about half an hour I also delete my app reinstall it again but no luck unfortunately still one of the longest LED strip goes only halfway through😢
Problem im having is the dash led strips stay on but my doors flash ramdonly off and on. Ive swapped everything around but nothing stops it flashing. Nice carbon interior by the way.
i have the same problem mate, the passenger door and both rear doors flicker for a bit then go off, however this only happens when the engine is on but only with electrics it works fine
Guys. I just installed my ambient lights, but after 5 minutes the led strip doesn’t work -on the dashboard , only the half working, I have no idea why, any advice guys?! Thx also the application as well, I can not change anything
If possible, in the upper left corner you will find a settings nut. There are two options (Welcome/Cancel welcome). You have to choose Cancel welcome, that will give you four options, option 1, 2 and 3 are LED start sequences. But option 4 is to leave the startup turned off.
I would not use or recommend using the clue or double adhesive tape included in the kit. Buy a super clue, or something else Quality-based that won't damage your interior.
@jakerahmed2097 thanks for letting me know. I reached out to the seller I got it from off Amazon, so now I'm waiting for their response. I'm within 90 days so they should switch them out for me. I'll let you know.
@Ugnius.G The seller sent me a replacement set; he said it was a faulty sub-module. They're supposedly upgrading the chips for future boxes since it's a known issue. But nothing can be done about it until then. I just unplugged that box's power source and reconnected it, and it is good to go again. And it hasn't crapped out on me since, but like the other comment said, theirs did shortly afterward. TBH, it's hella easy to do, and if that's all I have to do every few weeks/months, I would've been cool with that. But since the seller sent me out a replacement kit (BTW, he didn't have to do that; he could've just sent one submodule), I could easily swap out the faulty box for one of the new ones, but I haven't yet. I want to see how long this one will last before going out again; then, maybe I'll swap it. So now, I have extra boxes if they all short out, ready to go, or I have more boxes and lights to add to the setup. Again, the seller was dope for doing that and taking care of me, so I'm a happy camper. Hit your seller up.

I’ve seen comments saying it lights up in RGB mode and then switches to the chosen color after starting up the car. Is that true?
Yes, but if you don’t want the start up lights just don’t by the symphony kit buy the normal one then it only lights up to chosen colour

Look in the settings at the pixel value. I saw some people say that if it is at 100 if only lights halfway so put 255 or 256

Those sharp bends you put on a couple of those are the problem.

I had that. You gotta go into the app and change the lengh of the Led strips to 1000. Look for setpi or numers in the settings ranging from 0 to 1000
I wish it was possible to wire them so it just dims when you turn on the headlights. Its too bright imo.
