Is there any possibility of these killing your battery or shorting a fuse? I'm excited to add some simple mods to my car, but I'm not much of a DIYer, so I'm a little paranoid 😅
Hi CC B! Yep if incorrectly wired it is possible (by default it comes with a cigarette lighter plug which is the safest way to install it) However I know some installers will hardwire it directly to the car which allows the owner to leave the lights one indefinitely (potentially draining the battery if they forget to turn them off). Here is the full review for the kit so you can see all the pieces and how it works ua-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/v-deo.html Hope this helps, Cheers!
I dont understand at 6:25 how you fed the cable all the way to the driver side. Im stuck at this point, can you explain how you did it please ? Thank you
Hi Buzza! As you can see on that portion of the video, I partially lifted the center console allowing me to fed the cables by hand as far as I could, then with my other hand I can reach inside from the footwell area and pull the cables the rest of the way. This will vary from car to car, on some cars I don't remove the console or cup holder at all, I usually can hide the wires by just pushing into the trim in the console area, you can see an example of that installation here ua-cam.com/video/LahW9J1TkCw/v-deo.html where I did not want to remove any panels on the car. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Hi, i want to install it in these places and also the doors without open console or panels , so can you provide me any video for this or what you recommend the way to install ? thanks.
Hi amr fahmy! the same techniques I showed on the video can be applied on other places on the car. Hi M! It is not a single line of lights. There are several independent lights and those connect to the sections of optical fiber. Here is my review video so you can see the kit contents and it's features ua-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/v-deo.html Cheers!

Here is my full review of the kit if you want to see all of it's features ua-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/v-deo.html Hope this helps, Cheers!
I have a question, is it possible to have the foot led and fiber optic lights on 2 separate on/off switch which they will be sourcing power from the cigarette connection?

Hi Alan! I think the price will vary depending on how much work and detail you want the installer into the installation. In one hand the kit can be installed fairly quickly on the easy spots of the car keeping install cost down on the other end the installer can go all out and put lights in the more difficult places of the car increasing cost. I would recommend getting a couple quotes so you can decide on the best price and which knowledgeable installer you decide to use. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Hi L! Yes it can be cut to fit the section needed. Here is my full review for the kit so you can see the rest of it's features ua-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/v-deo.html Cheers!
Out of curiosity I saw that the floor ambient light and the led strips were made by separate manufacturers, is the app that the use/blue tooth they use link the two together or the same application? May be something you’ve touched up on but I didn’t see anything regarding it rewatching both videos, In the first you said they just linked up what was that process by chance?
Hi Leviti! correct you can technically mix and match some components since the APP that a lot of this RGB kits use is a generic RGB LED app. Regarding linking them, this is all done by app automatically when you pair each LED bar to the your phone. I may make a video on the APP if there is enough requests for this but for the most part is very easy to use and self explanatory. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Hey just wondering if you had anyplans to downpipeing or charging the exhaust. Im planning on putting a exhaust down pipe cut out that you can turn on and off
Hi Rene! yep! an exhaust is in my list of mods to come, it would be neat to find a dual mode exhaust. I have one on my Shelby GT350 and it comes in super handy...

@@AlexAutoFun Thanks! One more question. Could I save a certain light mode setting on the app and have it on that setting whenever I start the engine? Or does it always just goto default it turns on?
HI 6! The techniques shown on this video can be applied to any vehicle since this is a universal kit for all car models and makes. However remember there are differences between cars as far as how the trim panels can be removed, Cheers!

Hi Aeriel! Several panels and pieces of the trim have to be removed as shown on the video to install the lights (the amount of parts that need to be removed varies from car to car and also depending on where the customer wants the lights to be installed) Hope this helps, Cheers!
Is it safe for my car/battery to use the cig lighter splitter? I run a 3 channel dashcam, if I also pair all this led interior lighting is that bad to port all that at once?
Hi Rich! This will depend on your car cigarette lighter port Amp rating (some have higher ratings and some have lower ratings) and the Amp consumption of each device plugged into it. If you check the back of the device or it's instructions you will likely find their Amp requirements. Same with the car, if you check the owners manual or service manual, you will find the maximum supported amperage by the cigarette lighter port. Cheers!
Hi Jason! Correct, it can be hardwired to the vehicle (depending on how the installer connects it, it can be switched on with a separate switch or with the car coming on. Hope this helps, Cheers!
mustache with tesla shirt in a toyota.... elegant way of saying tesla in bending you and getting it on with your money while smart people drive toyota.😂😂😂 LEGEND!
Hi Ignjatije! Yes the lights are fully adjustable, you can see this on my full review video for them here ua-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/v-deo.html Hope this helps, Cheers!
Hi! I would have the installer check for: no hard bends on the fiber optic cables (remember they can be easily damaged), fiber optic ends fully inserted into theirs emitters, fiber optic cable ends were cut sharp (not smashed or pinched during the cutting process), the current brightness setting and also that the control box is getting the correct voltage required (if hardwired, if connected via the cigarette plug it's normally not an issue but I would ask the installer to check just to be sure) Lastly, if the dim issue is only affecting 1 cable, I would have the installer check that the length of the fiber optic cable is not too long, as noted on the instruction manual, very long lengths require an emitter on each end for maximum brightness. And if you are still having issues, you can also contact the vendor, they may be able to walk you thru additional troubleshooting steps. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Hi Briska! From the bottom (most car are open on the bottom part of the foot well area, so normally I can guide the cable up using my hand and catch it at the top and in very tight cases I physically lay in the footwell so I can see the direction I'm feeding the cable too. Cheers!
Thank you! Ah yes after much testing and experimenting with waxes, here is the best wax I found amzn.to/44TxyoS and here is the Mustache Comb I use. Cheers!
Hi Armando, Using the car's service manual and wiring schematics your installer can determine if the circuit(s) that runs thru the doors can handle the extra load and if it's safe to tap into power from there. And if your plug is always on even when the car is off then for those cases this is what I use amzn.to/3BofzJI to control the lighter port manually. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Hi Jeroen! I would not recommend it, remember, the lights need regulated power from the main power supply (12VDC) where the speakers wires carry sound meant to connect to a speaker (typically 4-8 ohm). They are are not meant to pull power from for other uses. Cheers!
Hi FrankBeanieWeenie! If using the cigarette lighter adapter, it shouldn't drain your battery (assuming your cigarette lighter port turns off when the car is off) Regarding other issues, while I have not had issues with mine, there is always an inherent risk when adding an aftermarket device to a car. Either installation can go wrong or the device can fail or some other latent failure may occur down the road. I know this may sound like an exaggeration but the example I give to people is that I had a friend who installed an aftermarket stereo on his car. Well the car caught on fire a few days later, and while it could have been the install, it could have also been the device or as my friend says maybe it was unrelated but just coincidence. So that is definitively something to keep in mind when deciding to upgrade your vehicle with aftermarket accessories. Hope this helps, Cheers!
instead of connecting it at the cigarette lighter ports, can't you somehow cut that and connect it at the man headlights so when you turn them on also you turn the leds?
Hi Zippo! Correct, when requested by a customer, some installers will hardwire the kit to the vehicle (depending on how the installer connects it, it can be switched on with a separate switch or with the car coming on). Cheers!
You're welcome! Ah yes here is the hardwire video ua-cam.com/video/K2iKXj82354/v-deo.html the only difference would be that there would only be 2 connections made: Ground and 12V+ (in either BATT or ACC depending if the customer requests power to the lights all the time (BATT) or if they only want them to be powered when the car is on (ACC). Cheers!@@zippo4222
Hi Natahan! Oh wow it should have come with one, I would recommend contacting the vendor to see if they can just sent you the missing adapter or if they need to swap the kit out for you. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Hi Victor! The same techniques shown on the video can be used to install the lights anywhere on the car (as long as the cable reaches, however experienced installers can extend the cable) Cheers!
Hi Lord! Nope the strip does not need to be continuous, it can be cut to fit the section needed. And here is my full review for the kit so you can see the rest of it's features ua-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/v-deo.html Cheers!
Hi Tbrick! If your cigaretter lighter port turns off and on when you turn on and off you car, then the RGB kit will come on and off with the car (so it will not drain you car battery, this is how mine is setup). And if your plug is always on even when the car is off then you will have to turn off the lights manually with the power button on the power adapter or using one of this one amzn.to/3BofzJI to control the lighter port manually and ensure the lights turn off and not drain your car battery. Cheers!
Hi D! Yep! the kit can technically be installed anywhere (inside the car) only limited by the installer's skill and your imagination (as far as placement) Cheers!
@daboilegends770 Hi D! Same process as the front, the main difference would be that the cables would be routed to the rear of the car (or a separate kit for the rear could be installed independently of the front kit) Just really depends on how the installer want to install them and how the customer requests for them be installed. Cheers!
@daboilegends770 Hi D! It can technically start from anywhere (again, this is mostly driven by the installers skill and the customer's request for where they want the majority of the lights to be). But yes, the car's centerline most of the time would be the most common place for the lights to start from. Cheers!
Hi OD! the LED lights that you saw me install on this vehicle are the ones that are linked in the video description (they come as a kit) Hope this helps, Cheers!
Im curious. I have the same model and want to install in the same placements you did yours. My 2 questions are is the drill method necesarry for the drivers side panel? And, for someone with no experience in doing these kind of projects, should i try this myself or get a professional to do this?
Hi Jose! nope the drill method is optional, as I explained in the video, it just depends on the look you are trying to achieve and how much detail the installer wants to put in the installation (some prefer to bring the fiber optic cable from under the panels, other prefer to drill holes for cable) Hope this helps and thanks for watching bud!
@@DoTheCrunk Hi Matt! I think installation difficulty will vary depending on the look you are trying to achieve (you can get an idea of the install process on this video to see if it looks difficult or easy to you) and but some people do prefer to use an installer (installers have experience pulling panels and routing wires) if installation cost is not a concern. Hope this helps and thanks for watching bud!
@@DoTheCrunk hi Matt. I was reluctant to try this myself as I drive a 21 corolla as well. My center console didnt come out as easily as in the video but this was also my first time doing a project like this but after some wiggling and elbow grease, each panel came off just like in this video. Probably the hardest part was feeding the led lights through the center console and up the side panel but I have pretty small hands so i managed to do this without completly opening the sides. One thing I did do differently was not create a hole in my armrest compartment and fed the cable under the center console and made the cigarette lighter charger cable be exposed. My armrest already was designed with a hole there so I avoided doing any permanent alteration. I also fed 2 led strips to the backseats but due to the material of the seat, the 3m strip doesnt stick. Took me roughly 3-4 hours doing each bit by bit rewatching this video 100 times lol.

If your cigaretter lighter socket stays on all the time (even when the car is off) then the lights have to be turned off manually with the switch in the power plug or by unplugging the power adapter. Great Stache bro!
Thanks Alvie213!
You should put some ambience lights on that mustache 😂😂😂
LOL!
How did you fish them with your hand to get them in place without removing any panel?
Cheers!
Can you tap it directly to a power source like the to come on with turning the car lights on?
Hi Jason! Correct, it can be hardwired to the vehicle (depending on how the installer connects it, it can be switched on with a separate switch or with the car coming on. Hope this helps, Cheers!

Thank you Julian and welcome to the channel! 😎
I have a question, I installed mine but it’s like the light doesn’t travel all the way through? It’s very dim at some parts. Know anything about this?
Can this LED kit be used on a 2021 Honda Accord or 2021 Nissan Sentra?
Hi! This is a universal kit for all cars and models. Hope this helps, Cheers!
How did you feed the cable to get to the sides?
Hi Briska! From the bottom (most car are open on the bottom part of the foot well area, so normally I can guide the cable up using my hand and catch it at the top and in very tight cases I physically lay in the footwell so I can see the direction I'm feeding the cable too. Cheers!
I absolutely love your mustache, can we get a tutorial for it🙏
Thank you! Ah yes after much testing and experimenting with waxes, here is the best wax I found amzn.to/44TxyoS and here is the Mustache Comb I use. Cheers!
Is there any problem if I connect them on the door cables because my cigarette lighter is always active even when I turn off the car.
Hope this helps, Cheers!
love the mustache
Thank you ApoloN!
Is it possible to connect the wire of a led strip with the cable powering the speaker?
Hi Jeroen! I would not recommend it, remember, the lights need regulated power from the main power supply (12VDC) where the speakers wires carry sound meant to connect to a speaker (typically 4-8 ohm). They are are not meant to pull power from for other uses. Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFun Thank you for your help.
You're welcome!
Does installing this have any effect on the battery or anything electrical on the car?
@@AlexAutoFun Very informative, thank you!

Do you have a link for where you bought that set
Hi @jameslalewicz1283! Yes, I placed the link in the video description.
Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFun lovely, thanks for answer, that could be a nice point for another video :)) the are a lot of ways you can play this 😁
You're welcome!

Can you tell me work make a video on how you can install it on the doors?
Hi Victor! The same techniques shown on the video can be used to install the lights anywhere on the car (as long as the cable reaches, however experienced installers can extend the cable) Cheers!
Very clean!
Thanks Alexander!
does the strip need to be all one continuous strip from the door to the centre to the other door?

can u pls send me link of amazone product of this kit iwth long cables?
Hi N Production! I put the link to the kit in the video description. Hope this helps, Cheers!
i just bought my rgb light kit and i was wondering, is it okey for the car to use the cigarette for the lights? it wont make bad to the car right?
Cheers!
Can you also do it for the back?
Hi D! Yep! the kit can technically be installed anywhere (inside the car) only limited by the installer's skill and your imagination (as far as placement) Cheers!
Can I maybe have a quick explanation on how to get them to the back?
@daboilegends770 Hi D! Same process as the front, the main difference would be that the cables would be routed to the rear of the car (or a separate kit for the rear could be installed independently of the front kit) Just really depends on how the installer want to install them and how the customer requests for them be installed. Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFun and would the back start from the center console or would it start from elsewhere?
@daboilegends770 Hi D! It can technically start from anywhere (again, this is mostly driven by the installers skill and the customer's request for where they want the majority of the lights to be). But yes, the car's centerline most of the time would be the most common place for the lights to start from. Cheers!
Can you connect any leds in a car or do they have have to be specific kinds
Hi OD! the LED lights that you saw me install on this vehicle are the ones that are linked in the video description (they come as a kit) Hope this helps, Cheers!
this is so cool! definitely going to do this to my car🫡
I’m planning on doing this too lmk if it went well or if you got someone to install it
@@DoTheCrunk Hi Matt!
@@JoseCooks but, you did it. And I bet you feel a hell of a lot better about it knowing you did it yourself and didn’t pay someone. All those painful frustrating hours turns to bliss when you hop in the car at night and click that red button 😂
