he wasn't if you check his body movement. he turn his hip and upper body alot for KO power. power fighter are like GGG or george freeman not much body movement. And great video shane.
Hey everyone, I'm teaching a live class on MyFightGym.com today at 11am PT (exactly 2 hours from now) covering an abs workout that you can follow along to. It will be followed by a Q&A session, but it's for ALL-ACCESS members only, so sign up now! See you soon.
train your arms explosive so you have a faster snap when throwing punches. Also what i did was do shane's video "how fast can you punch" everyday that's a workout and if you want be fast you just have to throw fast
Is that something you're seriously considering? You're striking technique, balance, flexibility, and overall athleticism is amazing. I would love to watch you fight pro mma? Do you have any am/pro mma fights? I know you've done thai and boxing.
Hey Shane so ever since my shoulder surgery I’ve found it harder to keep my elbows in tight causing my blocking to be a bit weaker then normal do you have any elbow and shoulder mobility stretches ?
fightTIPS wdym if the money is right?the skills you possess is that easily of a ufc champion. Your grappling is definitely not up to that level yet tho. Stick to a couple of years ingrappling and that could change. You could easily stand with Douglas Lima. Masvidal. Anthony Pettis. But once there are takedowns involved you will be compromised. Once you incorporate grappling in your martial arts training you will be an assassin. So yh i would pay top dollar to watch you just not rn
Wonder if someone thought he was hallucinating in that parking lot :P Anyway, I find that turning music up in your earphones really gets you into a nice bubble to focus and visualize without distractions or awkward selfcounciusness, especially if you're at a gym with other people.
I subscribed you 2 years ago because i got beaten up by another boy. Since then i watched almost every video of you and got very interested in martial arts. I have been doing taekwondo already for 2 years but didnt take it very seriously. Then I realised how important it is to know how to defend yourself. Now I am still doing a little bit of taekwondo, but also kickboxing and hapkido and also homeworkouts where i introduce your tips and exercises. I just want to say thank you for being such a big motivation and inspiration to me! :-)
this was awesome. one of the biggest hurdles I have right now is trying to actually get something meaningful out of the 10min of shadow boxing we do before class. I always feel like I'm just waiting my time, or grand standing (peacocking) stuff like this is really good cause it gives you some solid foundational routines. cheers! any more advice you can give to maximize people's class/practices (for all disciplines) would be amazing.
Really helpful video, Shadow boxing looks simple at first glance, but it's not. Thank you for providing this tip, I needed a method to practice my shadow boxing. Keep going! I love this channel 😍
Your channel is amazing. Thank you for providing us with such usefull information. But still we never know the guy in front of us whether has a knife or a gun. Take care and thank you once again.
LITERALLY asked for this, was sick man appreciate all the hard work ✌️if your still looking for a ideas I'd love a video on just the basics on going to the ground and learning how to survive 😂
+NB 9 You should be safe as long as you hit them square in the chin. It'll rattle their brain and make it difficult for them to move their legs, opening them up to pretty much anything you throw while they're off guard thinking "Why can't I move around?"
NB 9 Stay light on your feet, and out of range. As soon as they throw their hands move in and get a couple hits in. If they're a lot taller than you thry likely have longer arms, making it difficult for them to pull them in in time to block body shots. Leg kicks are uselful if you can land them as well. If you go for a punch to the head, go for the chin, knock them off guard. If you don't want to go for the chin then hit 'em square in the face and follow up with body shots. Doing all that should affect their power. It all depends on the combatant of course, so all of that can be taken with a grain of salt.
you can never be to ready for whatever goes down my friends like to kid at me because I practice boxing and shadow boxing even though I don't go to a gym or actually fight I just like being ready also love switching stance while throwing combos
Hey Shane, could you do a video on uppercut combos, including that double uppercut you do in this one (where you dip down for the first and then follow with another)? :)
do fight like videos on demitrious johnson n john dodson or a video on their fast foot work...more videos on different ways 2 angle out n counter like how to counter faster
Hey shane i lost my first Boxing fight saturday by one point because i was walking backwards too much but i landed more punches on him than he did on me he had a bonus because it's the Gym where he trains but anyway im still Motivated because of you youre Videos changed my mentality in a possitive way back to my question how can i prevend that next Time ? Ps. Greetings from Germany
Yeah, Boxing can be very political, so don't let a poor decision upset you. Also backing up is not necessarily a bad thing. I lost a few fights where I was the aggressor for 6 minutes straight, and my opponents were non-stop backing up. Just recognize what you did wrong, work to fix it, and come back stronger than ever!
Shadowboxing at my club is one of the most awkward things for everyone. I did some of the same things you've done, but being able to think back on this video is going to be a huge help, thanks so much man!
watching shane shadowbox was dope time just flew by amazing!
Ah thanks man!
he wasn't if you check his body movement. he turn his hip and upper body alot for KO power. power fighter are like GGG or george freeman not much body movement. And great video shane.
can we just appreciate how clean u're shadowboxing is. It's like no other....true inspiration.
This was masterful. You can actually visualise the invisible opponent in the video. Great job Shane.

train your arms explosive so you have a faster snap when throwing punches. Also what i did was do shane's video "how fast can you punch" everyday that's a workout and if you want be fast you just have to throw fast

+fightTIPS what do u think about the uppercut against a bigger and taller opponent?
+NB 9 You should be safe as long as you hit them square in the chin. It'll rattle their brain and make it difficult for them to move their legs, opening them up to pretty much anything you throw while they're off guard thinking "Why can't I move around?"
Jaelon Griffin what sorts of strategies u reckon for kickboxing bigger guys?
