I don't think it's your pc but rather their crappy servers. I see this happening all over and even during the bullet championship there were problems with the servers. That said, I would rather see you go back to one 15/10 game. I feel that time control will work better especially as the competition gets stronger. I gotta say that the Caro as white seems to be much harder to play to me anyway. It may be just the way my brain works though.
I'm going to agree that it's their server issues. Only thing I can suggest is that you update your laptop every Tuesday to prevent timing issues. Vladimir Kramnik ran into this issue recently when he had a chess match and required new laptops be used. Windows updates include security features that affect the sever sync.
