Went to the gym for the first time today and I was so overwhelmed and self conscious that I forgot how to even squat and I almost started crying because I was so frustrated. Wish I found this video before putting myself through so much emotional distress 😵

Agreeedd! I only had to walk around the gym to find the machines and then just start doing them. Some I had to figure out how to adjust to my height and stuff, but this made it so much easier!
Hadn’t been to the gym since COVID. Just started back this week. Signed up for a beginner class but still felt lost. So thankful for these videos. Looking forward to getting back to a fit life. 🙌

Since it’s only 60 seconds you can like “pretend“ like your doing something like drink water, check phone, and even sit there and breathe and rest. I don’t think anyone will say anything regardless, only if they are standing behind you waiting which is never cause there are more machines lol.

Hey Guys, please help... how do reps and sets work? Every time I counted with Naomi it only came up to 11 (the first work out) or 13 (for the bicep curls) not 12. Or am I missing something?
if you were to do 3 sets of 10 reps, you would total 30 whole actions (reps are the action, sets is just a way to group it so that you can take rests at a standardized time. also makes it easier to count if youre doing a crap ton of reps for something). the discrepency of the video may be related to editing/cuts of it? also she may be accidentally adding one, it happens haha. whenever i work out with my friend shell always do like 5 more reps than i end up doing just because were both bad at counting
Also, in my gym there is no MTS high row machine which you recommend in your full body workout videos, which one can I use instead of it to work the same muscles?
When she made this video, coronavirus was still very much present and it still is, so some gyms tell people to wear masks for their own and others safety! I usually wear my mask too just in case

Is resting 60sec between sets necessary? Bc i feel like i could easily rest 20-30sec and be ready again. Should i up the weigh

I typically just wait right next to my machine and reply back to comments (like I am right now 😜), emails, etc. on my phone! ☺️🙌🏼

What is the difference between the overhead press and the fixed pull down?
Overhead Press will target your shoulders while the Pulldown will target your back muscles. ✨
Why did I find biceps curl and tricep extension pretty much similar? 🤔
One is pushing and the other is pulling. Pulling works bicep, pushing works tricep.

I personally think that depends on your diet and how quickly you gain muscle. But you’d have to be lifting pretty heavy to bulk
