Also my advice would be to ask people in the gym for advice :) Especially Women! If you see other women using machines with confidence, ask them for some advice on how to use that machine. Sure, some may be wanting to get on with their own workout but i've found many people at the gym very helpful and friendly. It would be nice to foster a friendly atmosphere between women at Gyms

After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.

No one really cares. Just your own thoughts that do. I go to gold gyms. Sooo many gym junkies. Which I am not. No one cares. They're all focused on their own thing. Don't listen to your thoughts.
Might I also add, gym people (gym junkies) love to see people in the gym who like really need the gym, oppose to not seeing them in a gym. It's admirable to take control. I was watching my 600lb life with the twins Brandi and Kandi and they went to CrossFit. I am 2 pant sizes away from being a size 10 and I never went to CrossFit. They are my inspiration to go to one. Please do not let your own voices deter you from the gym. I assure you, no one is going to judge you. Gyms are the most crowded place but at the same time you have space and aren't bothered. No one is paying you any mind, unless you're one of those gym junkies who make noises when lifting weights..."big muscle heads" get talked about, lol.
same for me but its good for motivation when i go with the other buffed and muscle ppl i feel so weird but still there a gd example until i reach out for them and be like them or even better than them ! it's fine everyone has started at a point even them you need to just get used for it if you want a tip go with a friend or a family member that you feel relaxed with you will get used for it so quickly. keep up the work !

I'm going back to the gym tomorrow morning after 7 years. I've had my son two years ago and I'm the happiest I've ever been. With the pandemic it has caused me to push my fitness journey to the side. I could have easily done at home workouts but I thought I'd knowing myself doing workouts in the comfort of my own home just gives me the free will say I will do it tomorrow. SOOO I followed this routine. I swaped the stair master for the eliptical since they were down for routine cleaning and let me tell you.. I WAS BREAKING A SWEAT! Such a good routine to stick to if you're short on time and still want a full body workout. Thank you, Naomi!
Thank you soooo much for this video!!~ I have Social Anxiety as well as Agoraphobia, and being a complete novice at the gym, i was terrified of going. Ive had personal trainers before, but as I cant afford them past the first session and without their direction my mind goes blank and i literally have no idea what I’m doing. I took notes from this video and followed along with it at the gym~ I went once in June and after a few weeks finally got up the courage to go again. Ive now gone for the second time this week and I’m soooo confident in what I’m doing, no panic attacks, no anxiety, plus somehow after that first session from last month I’m lifting 5-10kg more than before lol~~ I’m super excited and so soooooo grateful for this video!~~ God bless you and I hope you continue to help lots more people like me 💛✨🦋 You are a QUEEN!~~👑

I joined today and I felt so uncomfortable because I didn’t have a routine I didn’t know where to start. But I do now I’ll give this a go tomorrow! Thankyou
Thankyou sooo much for this video. Its the best basic beginner workout on youtube and anyone can do it! I always feel intimidated walking in the gym and having no clue what I'm supposed to do. I also lose confidence comparing the weight I lift to those around me. But this video is so helpful as the machines give you muscle strength in an easy to use way!!

Thanks for this! I start the gym this week and wasn't sure where to start. I've worked out before in the gym and bulked up when I wanted to lose instead. My body responds well to weights but my goal is to lose 97lbs, tone, lift, and shape my post mom bod at age 40. My short goal is to lose 20lbs by my birthday/graduation next month.
honestly the big muscly guys at the gym are the nicest, I was the same as you at the start but if you give them a smile or ask for a few tips they are always so nice. they like to help other people most times!!

This was a great video. At the gym I find myself lost on which exercises to do. My only question is should I do this same exact rotation of exercises and equipment each day or change it up each day?
Your muscles need to rest. Do not do the same routine every day. You can do a full body routine with 1 or preferably 2-3 days rest. I'd recommend you going for a simple full body routine at first for like 2-4 months to build up core strength and then you can start to isolate and focus muscle groups during a work out session. Once you build strength then you can divide your exercises in leg+abs day and back+shoulders+biceps day and a chest+triceps day. You can do them in order without rest and rest the 4th day and repeat =)
This video gave me so much confidence!! I've never gone to the gym before comfortably and this year it's my goal to go regularly. I joined an empty gym and have found I actually love it!! I've always convinced myself it's scary and I can't do it. In my head, anything other than free weights didn't seem like an option. But Im so relieved and excited to start. I be wanting someone to help me show me if I’m using the equipment and workout right or wrong but can’t afford a trainer. Honestly I haven’t found the right trainer for me yet. So thank you. One thing I will say is the workouts and the breaks aren’t matching up. You are saying to do breaks with the timer when you are working out in the video.

I didn’t know “gym anxiety” was a thing until I got serious about losing weight. I was so scared ppl were gona judge me for entering a place where I had NO clue how to work the equipment and being the chunky monkey!! Let me tell you that everyone is there to WORK on themselves!! Thanks for this! I start the gym this week and wasn't sure where to start. I've worked out before in the gym and bulked up when I wanted to lose instead. My body responds well to weights but my goal is to lose 97lbs, tone, lift, and shape my post mom bod at age 40. My short goal is to lose 20lbs by my birthday/graduation next month.

I'm not afraid to use machines, I'm just afraid of going for weights because of how many heavy lifting guys there are in that area 🥲
They’ll do their thing and you do yours. 🙌🏼 Lifting heavy doesn’t always mean they’re doing it right, either. 🤷🏻♀️
honestly the big muscly guys at the gym are the nicest, I was the same as you at the start but if you give them a smile or ask for a few tips they are always so nice. they like to help other people most times!!

This was a great video. At the gym I find myself lost on which exercises to do. My only question is should I do this same exact rotation of exercises and equipment each day or change it up each day?
Your muscles need to rest. Do not do the same routine every day. You can do a full body routine with 1 or preferably 2-3 days rest. I'd recommend you going for a simple full body routine at first for like 2-4 months to build up core strength and then you can start to isolate and focus muscle groups during a work out session. Once you build strength then you can divide your exercises in leg+abs day and back+shoulders+biceps day and a chest+triceps day. You can do them in order without rest and rest the 4th day and repeat =)
And sis, if you wanna loose weight then add cardio sessions. If you want to build a figure / muscles then do the above. Wish u best of luck

This video gave me so much confidence!! I've never gone to the gym before comfortably and this year it's my goal to go regularly. I joined an empty gym and have found I actually love it!! I've always convinced myself it's scary and I can't do it. In my head, anything other than free weights didn't seem like an option. But Im so relieved and excited to start. I be so uncomfortable and lost in a gym. I be wanting someone to help me show me if I’m using the equipment and workout right or wrong but can’t afford a trainer. Honestly I haven’t found the right trainer for me yet. So thank you.
One thing I will say is the workouts and the breaks aren’t matching up. You are saying to do breaks with the timer when you are working out in the video.
Today was the first time I went into a gym and worked out. While I only worked out for a few minutes because I didn't know what I should do, it felt great. This is exactly the type of routine that I am looking forward to doing as I start out my fitness journey. Thxs for this 💙💙💚

I didn’t know “gym anxiety” was a thing until I got serious about losing weight. I was so scared ppl were gona judge me for entering a place where I had NO clue how to work the equipment and being the chunky monkey!! Let me tell you that everyone is there to WORK on themselves!! Sure someone will glance at u but they’re the weird ones if they aint working!! You got this queen!! 💪🏼
