    Do not forget to cut the splash guard. It is a b**** to do it while everything else is on

    Do you have to remove the front splitter in order to change the oil??

      No, with the plastic panel disconnected from the back there is still room.

    Can I use that same front splitter for a 2015 Ford focus se sedan?

      We have only ever installed it on the ST, I wouldn't think it would fit without modifications.

    Hate to correct you guys but this has been put since before the 15+ model version. I've had mine since September 2015. I did remove the front bumper cover to install mine which I think is easier.

    Is this also working for a 2012 st?

    Will this splitter be in the way of the stow and go license plate bracket used in another one of your videos for ST

    • @cjponyparts
      @cjponyparts  5 років тому

      Yes it will, you would have to customize it to make it work.

    Kind of like but won't the coated metal scuff and scrape underneath? I worry about bending one on a pot hole.

      Sure it can scuff just like your bumper if you hit something. If you hit a pot hole bad enough to bend it you would probably take out a lot of other parts along with it.

    Thanks for this video. ive been on the fence of getting a spoiler. i really want somthing that actually makes downforce. does this one make any downforce at speeds above 100? im trying to get rid of the floaty feel my car gets at 110mph+ i track my car alot. 2014 stage 3 focus ST

    Don't like it if I'm honest. Looks too flimsy. Needs black bolts too.

      Different styles are what make this hobby great! I agree on the bolts but it is very solid when installed.

    Hi, did you ever tried install on a 17?
    I couldn't get the side screws of the center piece on, I drilled the hole, but there is like an inner wall on the bomber.
    I have it on with two screws only right now, seems solid.
    Thanks for the video tho.

      We were told the 17 was the same fitment but have never had one here to verify.

    • @nicknicolosi1
      @nicknicolosi1 6 років тому

      CJ Pony Parts i understand, everything fitted smoothly, except for two screws.
      I will try and drill two new holes few inches towards the center, that should clear that inner wall problem.
      Other than that, it's solid, and I love the look.

      Pull your splash guard out you have to cut an opening so you can get the nuts on the bolt in I just did it on my 18 the other day. At the front of the splash guard has a square section cut a notch into both sides so you can get to the bolt.

      @@cjhanselman3354 yo i have an 18 st that i wanna put a splitter on but i have no mechanical knowledge. Is the process for the 18 the same as the 14 shown in the video? Take off that metal bar and open up the splash guard a bit and just screw it in?

    does this mod hold on well while driving at high speedes? cause it looks a bit fragile and i think this mod loves to catch air

    • @UnfocusedRacing
      @UnfocusedRacing 7 років тому

      mighty rome I've had mine since September 2015. Holds up grate and is not fragile.

    • @completelymustang
      @completelymustang 7 років тому +1

      Mine has held up at speeds over 140mph. As long as you use the provided hardware, you will be fine.

      ok thanks because i live in germany so i need a mod that holds well at high speeds. long live the autobahn. between 140 and 160 mph should not be a huge difference i guess

    • @UnfocusedRacing

      I've done just over 100mph with mine and no issues.
