    Little do you know these rods SUCK. the bolts will seize themselves to the rods and they are nearly impossible to get off lol

      Thanks for the feedback! How long did you have these rods on your car? Did you replace them with some other rods? Also, thanks for watching :)

      Andrew Mackey it was only a few months, but no I haven’t decided what rods to go with yet. I’ve had better luck with the cheaper eBay or amazon rods than the more expensive ones.. the splitter is off the car getting powder coated so I’ll try and find some new rods in the meanwhile.

    ......Splitter rods mounted to plastic are useless. They mount to the chassis...

      I agree - these rods are mounted to 11-gauge aluminum.

      @@andrewmackey6185 lolol you mounted your aluminum splitter to a thin plastic bumper lol 😆 you mount the splitter rods from the splitter to the chassis..... not your thin plastic bumper.

      @@CPTN-HATE wowo isn’t someone a car nazi

    • @CPTN-HATE
      @CPTN-HATE 2 роки тому +2

      @@LostLarz not exactly a car nazi but if your going to spend the money and try to educate others, doing it the right way is probably best. A front splitter adds downforce so there will be more pressure on it the faster he goes. Having it bolted to a plastic bumper will flex and probably snap off at high speeds and probably damage something else and ruin the bumper, splitter and rods.

      @NagasakkiSI Рік тому

      yeap that splitter may be secure, but at 80mph which is about 300lbs of downforce...well heck say you top the speed...you're whole bumper is going to be ripped off along with splitter.
