UPDATE: The fishing mini-game was removed during one of the patches at release! Currently, there is no difficulty in fishing whatsoever. Whether it's added back as a toggled feature, we are not sure yet. Once we know, I will update this post. Thanks for watching everybody!!

We're working on clipping issues, and the performance is something we'll continue to improve in Early Access, it's already had some major updates from the demo so we're confident we can make more tweaks there. Hopefully the improvements between the beta and this launch show that we're dedicated to improvements like that!
Are you sure I can't trap Pokee in the museum? I did manage to at least get her struck by lightning twice! Hehe 😼

Thanks for another great review and honest critique! I went ahead and bought this one but haven't played it myself yet. I played the demo long ago. I'm pretty sure this game will be one I will enjoy especially as the cold weather sets in over the next few months. The island vibe and tropical landscapes will definitely help keep those winter blues away.

Thanks Jade for the review. I played it early during Beta Testing & then played the Demo. I bought the game yesteray and really enjoying playing the game and will continue to play. I'm excited what the roadmap shows so many new things coming to this game. This is a keeper for me....( I hope you live stream playing some of this game. )

Pretty sure that person is referring to the game as being a fake animal crossing but it's all good. To each their own. ;-)

It looks cuter than the demo did but seriously, ddv is where it’s at when it comes to crafting everything from storage right?
It's definitely a lot better than the demo and yes, definitely crafting like DDV would be highly appreciated! Lol
Thanks. I loved this since i 1st played the demo last year & and bought it as soon as it went live. It works well on steamdeck.
They made lots of improvements & even did a hot fix on realase day.
Being able to re loading a save is so helpful. So making a bad decision doesn't mean starting again.
Automatic tool selection is so good.
Hope they add fridges to cook from storage soon.
Yes its ea but already has lots to do & no game breaking bugs for me so far

Does this game have a story line or main goals? Sorry if you mentioned it- had to watch the review without sound ❤
There's really no main story but there will be NPC main storyline quests coming in future updates according to the road map. There are villager requests that you complete and your goal is to rebuild the town and attract as many tourists as possible to make $$. :)
I wish I knew if they have a road map that included their attentions for console if any . Because it seems console players are never thought about when developers are making games and I think it's messed up. Cause I don't why developers think everyone has a PC or a steam deck not everyone has these things
I'll have to disagree with you on the fact that you claim developers don't ever think about console players. Devs absolutely do care about console development as it is beneficial for them for a more successful game however it's not as easy as you may think. They do have it posted on their site that it will be coming to console. I'm no developer but I do know it takes a lot of time, money and effort to get games ported out to consoles. Especially when you are an indie developer. There are so many endless loops and obstacles they have to come across with optimization and legalities with the respective console companies. The game has been released as an early access game to allow the devs to test it out so they can continue developing it for full release. They may not have all the resources like a huge company that allows them to get it out to consoles so early on. It's futile to state on a roadmap details about console release when they already have it noted on their website that console release is intended with full release.
