I’m about to get my first Dutch Oven and grabbed a recipe book off Amazon. Then I decided I’d check out UA-cam and see what I could find on there as well and came across your channel. Brother, the buck stopped right there. It is no surprise that you have been doing this since you were a kid… it shows. I’m pretty good on the grill and smoker and have a few cast iron skillets and a griddle that I’ve used over the years, mostly for blackening things, but only recently decided to dive deeper into campfire cooking and the Dutch oven. Your skill set just shows how far you can take this art. Just fantastic. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. Now I’ve got work to do… 🔥🤘😎
Thanks man! Having lots of Vietnamese friends growing up, i learned there are no "trash fish". Nice to see "trash" prepared in a western way and taste great. I am out of squirrels in the deep freeze and cannot wait to make your amazing recipe again.
Whodda thunk it? I would not have considered them edible. Don't know why. I have never eaten one Probably like you said, "Cause they're ugly." I'd like to try one after seeing this. Thanks for sharing.
Just tried my first remora. Made tacos in my video (coming soon). It was actually pretty good! Not a lot of yield out of it, but would definitely eat it again. Enjoyed your video and am a new subscriber
If you think about it, they just eat what sharks eat. We'd catch them offshore, as they'd stick to the bottom of the derrick barge and wait for the cook to dump the slop a few times a day. Then, on our down time, we'd throw out a line, and often catch a remora or two. One guy, thinking he was being clever, stripped off his shirt and stuck a couple to his chest. After we took his picture, he tried to pull them off. Uh oh! They didn't want to come off easy. After a lot of laughter at his expense, we finally got them off, but he had two huge sores where they had latched onto him. Just never thought about eating them. How about hardtail? Those things followed the barge all the time waiting for kitchen slop, too.
This isn’t meant to be a shot at you or the channel but I noticed a lot of fishing channels I watch reup load videos now. Is that the move? I think I get it, you can only record so many different topics.

I'd try it.
I was vegan for 6 and .5 years and a few weeks ago went back to meat. Excited to be gathering my own protein by fishing and hunting! Thanks!
I have to say that is a new one for me...

Is this a re upload?
There’s no such thing as a bad fish. It’s all in how you prepare it
If it has meat on it why not.
You CAN eat pretty much any fish but should you? 😂😂😂
I was expecting you to say that bloodline had a strong taste.....Nothing like get'n your own opinion.....
@SK_CrappieCatching Same, but sometimes I've noticed from white bass and hybrids that the bloodline isn't very noticeable. Not like a catfish.
Again, wtf????
GREAT CONTENT BROTHER LIKE ALWAYS!!!!!! OH YEA, TRUMP 2024!!!!!
